I'm very impressed with the quality of welds on the OBX headers. great headers and not a lot of chatter about them. The fit and install was great. I paid 480.00 shipped on Black Friday. I figured I'd give them a shot.
I have about 1/4 inch of clearance on the passenger side also, moved the a/c bracket line forward one inch for addition clearance. The engine will not rock side to side. You'll be fine. I have about 1/8 clearance on the steering shaft which is fine as well.
I disagree. Fixing, replacing parts, and diagnostics have been the same for several decades. This Mustang isn't anymore difficult than a 1987 Grand National to work on.
Unfortunately, that is their target market who will probably buy the most units. You sell to the largest market, when they become insignificant, you move on to the next.
PMAS off eBay $200.00
OBX 1 7/8th headers w/ off road $480.00.
I'll take those bargain basement priced gains, when I add a tune and e85 this spring.
Thanks for sharing your numbers.
I have the Sport w/ headers and an off road mid-pipe with resonators, and the resonators may get larger once I can put some miles on it in the spring. We'll see.
You got that right. Some can draw a conclusion or find an inkling to relate the aforementioned subject to something not entirely close, and still think they are making a valid argument.
Really depends on what you think is ignorant. Reading this thread in it's entirety, there seems to be quite a defining line on each person's perspectives, and just like politics, their way is right, with no common ground.
