  1. 2023 Eruption Green Mach 1 has landed!

    But it does, first sentence.
  2. 2023 Eruption Green Mach 1 has landed!

If you need additional body clearance to clear HP front splitter or even belly pan for that matter, that’s why they’re there. Even without HP lower splitter, Ford shipped them installed for that delivery clearance and any in the future use, like maybe that flat bed without proper ramps to get...
  3. 2023 Eruption Green Mach 1 has landed!

Well that’s not completely accurate as the manual states they’re for additional clearance of the underbody. No mention of use for “bottoming out”. Also the manual states “Transporting or Trailering - Mach1 Handling Package (If Equipped)“ hence my comment about them being on HP models. Sorry...
  4. Wheel and Tire Questions

So this is for the front wheel which you asked in your first post ? So a 20x9.5@33mm et with 285 tire ? What aspect ratio is the tire ?
  5. What did you do to your Mach 1 today

  6. 2023 Eruption Green Mach 1 has landed!

Maybe the EU models had them for the extended journey across the pond? On loading and off loading ? I was just going on the info I have in the US owners manual.
  7. What did you do to your Mach 1 today

Crappy pic but you get the idea.
  8. 2023 Eruption Green Mach 1 has landed!

Correct me if I’m inaccurate but I was under the impression the front suspension spacers (yellow spring shipping blocks) were only supplied on the HP equipped models ?
  9. Wheel and Tire Questions

You need to know the offset, current & proposed. Offset sets everything into motion on wheel fitment besides wheel width and tire size.
  10. Wheel and Tire Questions

What is your stock wheel / tire size including offset ?
  11. R Spec Wheel Fitment on M1

No problem, just wanted to have good info posted so others go down the right info highway.
  12. R Spec Wheel Fitment on M1

Actually, that information is incorrect. Stock Mach1 HP rear wheel offset is 52.5mm rear. Plus they won’t “poke” as mentioned. Here’s some screenshots from the wheel calculator website.
  13. Camber Adjustment

I realize your concerns about doing every thing right the first time. Others doing what you plan do might post up their process so you maybe wait till then. Ford / Steeda camber plates are $400ish if you want to add that to the package you’re after. Lowering also affects your front toe so you’re...
  14. Camber Adjustment

What sort of tire changes besides going to 20” wheel ? Will new wheels be a square setup ? Lowering springs will change camber from what you have now. Do you know your current alignment specs ? I see from your profile that you have Mach 1 non-HP, is this true ?
  15. Cam Cover Bolt Removal Issue - ?

I think a trim removal tool should be able to get the stuck collar out rather than the needle nose pliers shown in the instruction. Try lifting the collar a bit for enough clearance to get edge of tool under it and pry up. When I did mine, it was a good tug to remove it thinking why is it so...
  16. Cam Cover Bolt Removal Issue - ?

This is the OG bolt that came out of my cover. 1 pic shows the “collar” slid up to the bolt head washer. The other pic shows the “collar” slid down towards the threads as far as it goes. The “collar” stayed on the bolt as I removed it. So, yea, if this collar is still in the cover hole and all...
  17. Mach1 hp questions

I run the Cup 2’s and set the psi at 27 COLD. Measure after a stint and try, as @Ewheels said, don’t let them get beyond 34psi HOT. After you’re done with a couple stints, measure and adjust. Trust your tires !!
  18. Hard Parking: A Mach 1 Picture Only Thread.

I take it that this “hard park” has to do with the surface the car is parked on. How about soft parked on the paddock grass after cool down just before my next stint ?
