Like all above, what tires are you using on the track ? I run 200 TW with stock discs, pads and the Ford Dot 4 LV High performance Brake fluid. The front pad must be the MR3Z-2001-C pad ( which is the OG pad that came on my HP ) not the stock stock pad. I run Philip’s (GTP) air deflectors. I...
I run Falken RT660 & get good wear, plus you can run them on a damp track, green track and all dry. My cup 2’s are only dry track for obvious safety. Falken has a RT 660+ which is on my list soon. I don’t keep “heat cycles” but observe tire condition during and after every track day during post...
Not trying to be a smartass here and yes, tires & rubber bands are made of different types of rubber, but go look at a 18 year old rubber band in you kitchen junk drawer. Buy new tires, please.
The gauge is a smart gauge and uses CAN BUS just as the vacuum gauge. We have discussed this on TMO, it’s in my build thread. I trust it to the point that it’s better than the vacuum gauge which you can access for a digital readout from the center cluster. The rear differential cooler turns on...
Nice steering wheel. Since you track your car, may I recommend the GT350/500 center dash gauges. They show higher oil pressure and oil temperature rather than the vacuum. They are plug and play. I track my car exclusively with very limited street use And find the temperature reading very useful...
Take your replacement ones and fit into the lug hole on a loose wheel. Notice how deep it sits, then the stockers. I would want the “longer” tapered ones just for more bearing surface. Those replacements seem really shallow on depth. I track my mustang so I would go with a depth similar to the...
I do HPDE with my ‘21 Mach1 with 5,400 miles and of that, 4,200 are track miles. 3 track seasons ( ‘22, ‘23 & ‘24. Took ‘25 season off). Not bragging, just saying that there are some of us that track their Mach1’s, ours was purchased as a track car.
