There is definitely lag, but I've gotten used to it and don't mind it. Honestly it's not much more lag then my WRX had with the stock turbo. Under normal driving I don't build any boost which is good for fuel economy, and then when I want the boost it comes on as a surge of power that pins you...
Total spent on EVERYTHING I've done to the car is between $9-10k.
That includes wheels/tires, suspension, cosmetic mods, and performance mods. The total for power-adding mods is a little over $5k I think.
It's all good man, everybody is a noob at some point
On the subject of traction, my car is able to put the power to the ground MUCH better with the bigger turbo. With the stock turbo I could never get traction due to the instantaneous torque. Sliding around and getting sideways on...
I guess I should put on some shitty tires so my car will seem faster lol
But in all seriousness, with the bigger turbo the car makes very little power below 4k rpm, but once the boost hits it will light the tires up at 50mph in 2nd gear on a slippery-er road. The roads I filmed that video on...
Video really does no justice to how fast the car actually is, but I can assure you, it's pretty damn quick. I haven't had the chance to race anybody yet, or take it to the track, but I will as soon as I can. There is no 1/4 mile track within 3 hours of where I live, but there is an 1/8th mile...
For everybody who has been asking for video, Here it is!
This is my car with the MAP turbo kit - Precision 5862 Turbo
The kit has been on the car for a week now and so far it is awesome!
I'll be posting more videos (in car, at the track, etc.) in the near future.

No dyno yet, just did the install this weekend. The closest shop with a dyno is 100 miles away, so it'll be a while before I can get on one.
Self installed with help from friends. It took well over 12 hours, but that was because we hit a few snags, had to go to the parts store, etc. And I...
It drives like a totally different car.
The stock turbo is so small that it spools up almost instantly, making great low end torque, but not a lot of usable power on the high end. With the P1 kit I would hit peak boost by 3000rpm and then taper off toward redline. Now with the new turbo...
Here's a few pics I took last night at the car wash, I will get better pics and videos soon
I installed the MAP intercooler at the same time as the turbo kit here is a comparison of the stock IC vs the MAP one.
