  1. Spare Tyre / Inflator Query

Another vote for an actual tyre then. Sounds like that's the way to go for me. Don't want to have to rely on getting a puncture that only puts a screw hole in your tyre, vs slicing the side wall.
  2. First Oil Change At 15,000km? (9,000 miles)?

While there is nothing "wrong" with it, fully synthetic has less impurities, degrades slower, withstands higher and cooler temperatures better, flows freer so gives more protection at start up when most wear occurs. Seems like the positives out weigh the negatives. Sure you pay more for it, but...
  3. Spare Tyre / Inflator Query

I'm leaning towards getting a special space saver that can go on any corner. That way it would definitely be sufficient to get you to the next garage to have your tyre fixed. I'm hearing a lot of people not liking the special goo kit.
  4. First Oil Change At 15,000km? (9,000 miles)?

Wouldn't you use full synthetic anyway? I couldn't imagine using anything BUT fully synthetic.
  5. First Oil Change At 15,000km? (9,000 miles)?

Yes I've taken note re the oil volume, as I read that somewhere too. Will make sure I "remind" them and also check the invoice!!
  6. FPRP M 5300 X Springs and Bump Stops

Ok thanks. Yes, he's been good to deal with, despite the fact that the car was taken back from him by the bank as he went bankrupt, and was sold at auction by the bank. He was very gracious (and philosophical) about it all and has been happy that I have bought it, as he knows I will look after it :)
  7. First Oil Change At 15,000km? (9,000 miles)?

Yes, I've read about this too. Not so bad for me as I live in an apartment with basement garaging so can't do any work on it anyway. Someone else can get burned by the oil!
  8. First Oil Change At 15,000km? (9,000 miles)?

If this were the case, then you would think Ford wouldn't suggest 9k miles then? Firstly, by recommending 9k miles they will potentially lose money (less oil changes) and secondly people would be potentially damaging their engines no? I would have thought Ford of all companies would be jumping...
  9. First Oil Change At 15,000km? (9,000 miles)?

Wow!! How much have engines and oils improved recently? I haven't had a performance vehicle for over a decade now, however on my Mitsubishi Outlander 4x4 I feel bad going up to 10,000km (6k miles) before an oil change, and now I read in the owners manual for my 2019 GT that the FIRST (and...
  10. FPRP M 5300 X Springs and Bump Stops

Hi all, I know sweet FA about suspension so this question may sound stupid, but the previous owner of my car also doesn't know the answer. He (the previous owner) had the above lowering springs installed on his 2019 PP1 GT. When I took over the vehicle I received a bag with the four bump stops...
  11. Spare Tyre / Inflator Query

Thanks for the feedback guys. It's given me a good amount of info to look into. This forum is awesome - you guys really rock! :)
  12. Spare Tyre / Inflator Query

Any idea how long a tyre would last using the inflator kit (distance wise)?
  13. Spare Tyre / Inflator Query

Hi guys, two part query please: 1. MY 2019 GT PP1 (Brembos) comes with the inflator pack. How useful have you found it to be compared to having a spare wheel (either space saver or full size)? 2. If I opt to get a spare wheel, I've read that you can't put them on the front due to the Brembos...
  14. How many GTs are Owned by Seniors?

This is something that is a real eye opener to me. I'm only a youth (47) and am AMAZED at all the forum posts of people talking about the finance deals they are doing on cars. I would NEVER finance a car, that's just plain crazy to me. My money always has and always will go into properties...
  15. 2019 GT Deepest (Old School) Sound Combination

The impression I'm getting is that this is probably the best route to go, especially to keep the active exhaust intact, and without spending over the top money. I also live in an apartment building so can't do any involved work on the car due to the nature of a basement carpark.
  16. 2019 GT Deepest (Old School) Sound Combination

Agreed, I don't like drone either! Back in the day I test drove a WRX with an aftermarket pipe set up and engine braking down hill my ears were literally ringing afterwards. Suffice it to say, that was one test drive I was happy to finish asap!
  17. Should I be worried about previous abuse? (MY19 GT)

Yes, that's what I've been reading too. And also what the above poster says - that the Pirelli's are not good. Fortunately I do have the 4S's. Where I live the weather is almost always fine, rarely ever rains so I can technically drive almost every day (no winter as such) :)
  18. Official S550 Mustang Owners Registry Query

Hi guys, can someone please tell me what the purpose of this section of the forum is? Thanks.
  19. 2019 GT Deepest (Old School) Sound Combination

Yes, you're right. Ok thanks, I'll look into that as a potential option :)
  20. 2019 GT Deepest (Old School) Sound Combination

Are they compatible with active exhaust? Haven't heard of those before. Thanks.
