hi guys, I never get search to work correctly... my fault.
is there a way for us to put a picture on our home screen, on our
fancy schmancy infotainment systems?
my 08 Jeep SRT8 stereo has a cool pic of me launching at track.
thanks, ---chuck in lower slower DELAWARE
I think you MAY need the bigger injectors only if running E-85 N/A ?
With E-85, you burn a lot more fuel as commanded by the tune.
It will not change everything that much (fuel needing-wise) with just 350IM on pump gas.
here is the deal with the HellKittys, as a good buddy has had both stick and auto.
His stick was a PITA to race, broke stuff, never consistent, 3 clutches etc.
After I stunned his azz in July at Cecil .... I ran an 11.77 to his 10.88 BUT, he did
not catch me until after 3/4 track... I...
congrats, definitely a 10 sec Stang for sure!
I experiment a lot... sometimes with automatics, if you "stall" them up a little, they
will leave a little softer.
Try that.
With my SRT8 Jeep, if I stall it up hard, it leaves softer than if I flat punch it off idle!
I have even went so far...
my opinion, but I am not positive, as I have an A6.... b/c I wanted a quicker Stang from
the git GO.... and not have to replace clutch, have car feel loose after I rag on it.
anyway, I read DON'T put it is track mode, b/c it actually stiffens up suspension for
race track, not really drag...
* TRUST US ...... Lund tune.... you will swear you awoke the BEAST!!!!
I drive it around everyday in Sport mode with trac assist off.
When I race or get serious, I turn the TRAC ASSIST all the way off by holding the
switch up for about 8 seconds. You'll see.
Trust me the autos with WHOOP...
....and make sure if you do decide to take it... THE CAR / VIN is not put into an accident data base!
That will devalue the car in the future by a lot!
I ran 11.8s in good weather with "just" LUND tune, JLT intake, and drag radials @ 118.
Probably could have squeezed a 70 out of it, with a couple more runs...I was sick that day
and only made 3 passes.
NOW with converter, a few more tweaks... runs consistent 11.5s@117 in the hot azz weather...
supposedly it dampens any "bad" harmonics, THUS negating the expensive install of
the harder oil pump gears etc. PLUS it is several pounds lighter, of ROTATING MASS.
b/c even FORD engineers agree that the factory "stuff" is NOT cheap metal, the vibrations
bad harmonics hurt everything more...
