If you are so dead set on running a 12, why don't you just buy a set of drag radials. What's with the obsession with street tires? If you shop around you can get a new set of Mickey Thompson's and a cheap set of old Mustang rims for about $600. Cheaper than some of the other options you're...

I agree. I used SCT on my Mustangs going back to 2004 and the Cobb Accesport is a much better product.

  6. Boost Operated Blow Off Valve - Boomba Racing

The EB Performance Pack brakes are just the stock GT brakes. The 18" wheels are the same across the platform, so they should fit just fine. I bought a set of take off GT brakes from Roush on eBay for a ridiculously low price.

  8. 1/4 Mile Times for LMS

The difference, in this case, is in the power not the launch. The 60' time is mediocre. The e30 car by my guesstimate is probably putting down 20-40 more horsepower than a solid 93 octane tune. Note the trap speed of over 109 mph. Horsepower got that car in the 12's, not the launch. You're...

  10. 1/4 Mile Times for LMS

I'm not trying to bad mouth LMS or your choice in tuners, but on these cars there is a huge difference between automatic and manual, street tire and drag radial. Using your statement of using a 93 octane tune on street tires in a manual, I don't see 12's happening for you. I'm pulling for you...
  11. 1/4 Mile Times for LMS

No offense, but on my previous Mustangs (SN95 and S197 platforms) that would qualify as a canned tune. You can call it whatever you want though.
  12. 1/4 Mile Times for LMS

My inference was based on him thinking that a manual EB with an e30 tune and street tires means that his car should/will perform equally with the LMS tune on 93. I was aware of an LMS car (shop car?) running in the 12's when the EB Mustang first came out. If it's not a canned tune, what...
  13. 1/4 Mile Times for LMS

Nothing inaccurate about it at all. He was talking about a specific car's time that is running a different tuner's e30 tune. He's planning on using your 93 canned tune on a manual with street tires. Are you saying he'll run mid 12's?
  14. 1/4 Mile Times for LMS

    That was a Tune+ e30 car. I wouldn't expect that time with a LMS 93 tune. Mid-high 13's depending on your driving.

  17. catch can hose clamp, help!!

UPR stated to me that it wasn't supposed to come with the quick release fitting. It was a bitch trying to get the hose on without it so I heated the oem hose and pulled the fitting and installed it with a clamp on the UPR hose. 10 minute job. It should really come with the fitting UPR.
