My Uncle who used to paint cars said that paint doesn't adhere as well to aluminum like it adheres to steel. Could this be part of the issue with the ease of chipping on the aluminum hood?

I talked to Mike G today at Ford Performance today and I asked him about the June 3 date for 2017 model and he said that they wouldn't be building 2017's that early. Hopefully he is wrong or he knows something we don't.

I've been trying to see a base car with all cars at the dealers now to see if it has gauges but haven't found a base yet to confirm.

I noticed that too...I was getting 10.3-10.4 for the GT350R and I know it's not that fast so they must of been shifting at different RPM....I'm guessing 11.90's for the R since stickier tire and 130 lbs lighter.

With stop watch, I'm getting 12.2 -12.3 at the 3/4 shift....this is what I expect from the hp/weight ratio....with a stickier tire, 11.90's

Got my order placed Saturday at MSRP. 900A with over the top stripes and car cover. I passed on spending $6500.00 for magnetic ride in the track pack. Dealer is placing stock order for me, so I get car sooner. The clock is ticking....Let the waiting game begin.
