My GT350 hood started having these issues around 145, even with its larger vent. All the S550’s need hood pins like the GT500.

Slow drivers in the left lane. Especially those who match the speed of the vehicle beside them in the right lane so it’s impossible to pass. Large trucks tend to be the biggest offender, but I encounter plenty of 4 wheeled cars and trucks that do it.

Your car likely has negative camber which will wear the inside edge. Check your owners manual. My Shelby is running just over 1 degree of negative camber.

As others have said. You need to mature before you get anything with a V8. I know at 17 if I had access to high HP car, I wouldn’t be here. I’m 44 and I have to fight urge to drive like a teenager when I get behind the wheel of my mustang.

Just follow the instructions in the owners manual. I don’t have a Mach, but that’s what I did. Over 7000 high reving miles and no issues yet.

I keep a bottle of octane boost in the trunk for emergencies such as 93 not being able.

I didn’t intend to name mine. It started by me saying I was going to take the Shelby for a drive, and quickly changed into “I’m taking Shelby for a drive”. So her name is Shelby. I know, real creative.

For me it’s a useless feature that I wish I could turn off without going the plug simulator route. I never drive mine with the valves closed. First thing I do after starting is open the damn valves. Active exhaust ruins the sound of a cold start.

Don’t do it. Won’t matter what mods you do or how much horsepower it makes, it’s still an eco boost. The black sheep of the mustang family until the Mach-E came along.
