Your right, I don't have magneride. It wasn't a big issue to me since I planned from day one to modify the suspension along the way. Right now it has Steeda progessive springs and the entry level stop the hop kit. Next will be some Steeda shocks and struts.
I appreciate the comment. I have spent a lot of time thinking about how I wanted it to look and it turned out better than I had first envisioned. I can't believe more people don't look at the Shelby CS3 wheels since they were designed for the S550 and they closely replicate the PP2 wheels.
Great info, I appreciate it. I may check with one of these guys to see if they can do it. My S197 had some waviness in this same area even thought the hips are not as wide and I am pretty sure it came that way.
Well, mine is not on the crease, just above it on the flat area. Sounds like one of these guys may be able to fix this if your friend had his repaired. Thanks for the info.
On my 2019 Mustang, I noticed when detailing this past weekend, that the area above the hip has some small dents. I know it's my fault because I place my hand here sometime when I lean against the car when getting gas, but I never put much weight down and never out on the flat section. It...
I have a set of PP1 wheels and tires that are in perfect condition and have exactly 76 miles on them. They are just as they were on my car when I bought it and drove the 76 miles home and them replaced them. As you probably know, these are Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires in 255 40 19 and 275 40 19...
I finally made the jump into the S550 club with a 19' PP1, 401A car in need For Green. As you can see, I have already replaced the wheels and springs, so if anyone's interested in a 76 mile set of PP1 wheels and tires in perfect condition, please just send me a pm. I love the car so far, it's so...
I just purchased my 7th Mustang this past Monday. a Need For Green 19 PP1 car with 10spd and 401A. My current car is a 2011 premium GT and is 8 1/2 years old now. While it is still a great car, it pales in comparison to this. I generally order any Mustang I get, but I searched and found around 5...
I am on this site pretty much everyday reading about problems like this, I just don't post very often. I still have my 2011 GT with almost 150K on it. It has had a Breenspeed tune since a few months in and still runs great. I have only replaced a handful of items in over 8 years of ownership, so...
I really appreciate the info so far. Akins does have a lot of Mustang's, but no need for green stangs. Their discounts were not as good as Courtesy Ford in Conyers, which is the best I have found so far. Wade had a need for green, but it's a 6spd and does not have 401A.
I was thinking of a Lund or Palm Beach dyno tune with a NGauge, filter, and resonator delete for now. The ticking issue is definitely on my mind because of the Youtube videos and 2 people I know that are having this issue.
This summer my 2011 GT will be 9 years old, and I have started the process of trying to find my next Mustang. As of now, I have decided on a 2019 premium GT, 10 spd, need for green, 401A, 3.55 gears. It can be either a standard GT or even a PP1 just depending on how good of a price I can get...
