I did the Boundary OPG/CS combo in mine (while installing Comp cams) and have 0 regrets. I also did Boss 302 primary chain tensioners and my drivetrain is much quieter than stock now.
I just swapped to Stage 2 Comp Cams last month and while I was in there I also did Boundary OPG/CS, MMR driver-side secondary tensioner flip bracket, and finally Boss 302 primary tensioners. My drivetrain is so much quieter now.
My car had the TSB for the Primary tensioners causing a chirping...
Quick follow-up on this thread:
After trying all the other methods within this thread, I ultimately solved "my" issue by switching my 12" sub from a small sealed box to a, not too much bigger, slot-ported box and it SLAMS so hard that I now have to keep my rear seats up on purpose and had to...
FIRST..... Set everything how you like it for steering mode, exhaust mode, drive mode, etc.
THEN... switch to MyMode and you will see that MyMode reflects the current setting for all the modes available on your car (that you just set). Then just HOLD down the OK button and it will save...
I have the Track Exhaust setting saved as the MyMode on my car so not sure why you cannot save Quiet Mode in the same way. On the other hand, I never heard of anyone wanting done that way either. Why don't you leave it in Quiet Mode all the time and just make MyMode set to Track like most people...
As Mach VII showed, you forgot the tune. I believe it is a 2019 and up only thing and actual 2018 model years can get away without the tune. Not a big deal, I had to do it myself on my nearly identical optioned 2019. I already had a PBD E85 tune at the time, so I just simply asked them to switch...
I’m full Kooks catless longtubes with true 3” out the back thru Borla active catback without the mid-pipe neck down an it does not smell on pump E85. I can run the car in the garage. Smells like popcorn without butter.
Stop it. You know what I meant in the context of this post. E85 exhaust “smell” is nearly non-existent compared to same car running 93 octane gasoline.
Gathering all the parts necessary for Stage 2 Comp Cam / OPG / CS install on my 2019.
ARP has a part number for both 6pt and 12pt version of the same cam tower bolts, with the 6pt being about $10 cheaper. Is it necessary to use a 12pt in this application for clearance purposes or is the 6pt fine?
The best part of E is running full catless exhaust and not smelling like shit when you get to your destination. Can run the car in the garage as well (door open of course). Been on E85 exclusively since summer 2019 and never going back.
Also, I have found out (like you have) that even the...
Cool idea but can I patent my no mess method of simply using a few empty plastic grocery bags? Line them up under the filter and let gravity lead the oil right into the pan.
