The front bolts are just the reused belly pan bolts. Also, your kit may be missing the radiator support bolts like mine was. I had to get some clip nuts for this part.
Broke outer stub of G-Force launching off transbrake at ~3200 rpms on well prepped track earlier this year. Borrowed a stock shaft that someone had at the track and did a trackside swap to make it home. Bought a set of GT350 shafts to use as future backups at the track and swapped in...
This right here. Easy and no tools required. I have pulled my driver side shaft 3 times in the last few months swapping between stock, GT350, and G-Force Renegades shafts and they pop right out every time. Try it, you will be surprised how easy it is with this method.
I always wash with a pressure washer and snow foam cannon and rinse it all down with the pressure washer as well and have had no issues with my C-Series grilles over last 2 years.
I have left pump E85 in my tank for months, over the winter, and it fires right up whenever I feel like driving the car. Going on 2 years straight of running E85 exclusively on my car.
The stock drain plug works fine for draining the oil without a mess. The trick is to open it very slowly until the oil just starts to come out, then open it only just slightly more and the oil will drain straight down into your catch pan. You can even control the flow by opening/closing the plug...
Yes. I used a vice to compress the spring together and used 2 zip ties to hold it that way. I was able to put the spring back on with the caliper still mounted. It may take a couple tries to get the spring compressed just enough to get the spring back in the mount.
PMAS also has plans to make an "Over The Radiator" version for Cobra Jet intakes. I am interested in the data from either of the PMAS redesigns. I am not a current PMAS owner, I use the Steeda Closed-Box with my Cobra Jet and am totally fine with it and the IATs are as good as it gets.
Not sure if you have seen this, but on the various Facebook groups, the owner of PMAS has shared redesign photos of the PMAS setup that will now run the filter into the fender and include a totally closed off shroud on the engine side. He is also designing it so it can be a lower cost upgrade...
I started with exactly what you have the harness plug and fuse. You need all the stuff listed within this thread for it to work. 2 actuators and 3 harnesses. All can be bought from Ford.
Then you need a compatible active exhaust. Whether it’s an OEM or a Borla, Corsa, etc. The actuators are...
Precisely. When I did this back in November it cost me $385 for all the Ford parts new and then I got a sweet deal on a used Borla Stype active catback. Once you have it on, it’s worth it.
Ford parts prices swing wildly sometimes so just keep watching out and keep looking for someone ditching...
I didn't make any extra connection. You end up ditching all the vacuum hose crap that sits bundled up above the stock throttle body on the stock manifold. The CJ only has 3 vacuum ports on it. On my setup, I capped off the port labeled 1 below. That would normally go to your PCV or catch can...
They only say that because it doesn’t have a provision for some extra vacuum line that is only present on the A10 cars. Other than that, it is the same install for A10 or manual.
All you need is:
CJ manifold (I would buy one ported)
CJ specific air intake (prefer Steeda closed
box for IATs)...
It’s simple really.... if you have the main harness plug already back there. Go check and read thru the recent pages of this and you will find all the info needed.
Precisely. And also don’t be worried if that character happens to be some other number/letter you may have been expecting. Just change it to E and save it.
If you have never used Forscan before you can practice on another line, like disable seat belt chime, just to make sure you can do the...
That post was not mine but actually the original I found that made me pursue doing this to my 2019. Followed it exactly and it works as described. I just made my own notes from that.

Well, most people have a tune, so you simply have your tuner turn on Active Exhaust in your tune. You can have a tuner do the same for your stock tune but you may as well just get the car tuned, even if stock because the cost is the same.
