Myself and several others use them. you just open the valves and cut the car off. Unplug the valve and plug those little things in. you need. two of them....
I use them because I no longer have valves at all.
omg - not following that "break-in" suggestions to the letter will not ruin your motor. Anything mass produced will have failures so if you want something that you're almost guaranteed not to have an issues with, buy a 300k dollar Ferrari. -even then you might still have trouble.
So super weird. It shows temp only in track and drag modes... wtf. I can’t find any options on it. Songs still don’t show. Is Nav supposed to show in the center too?
I'm trying to figure out how to enable the outside air temp and to show what song is playing on the digital dash... I see pics of other peoples doing this but mine doesn't have the option it seems... are there forscan values for this?
The smooth non drilled ones are cheaper to make. Period. Everything else is marketing. They won’t tell you they save X amount of dollars per car bc that wouldn’t sound race car-ish. Plus drilled rotors eat pads faster. There isn’t any diff in performance.
I echo this sentiment. I'd love to have one but more for a daily driver since its an automatic. It's not something I dream about going to drive. I love FPC, manual tranny. Is it slower? Sure... but as you point out this doesn't really matter. Two totally diff cars. If one size fit all we'd most...
talking specifically about engine load. When cruise in 5th and you end up slowing down for something, do you down gear and get the rpms high as you increase speed or do you just increase the throttle in 5th and power through? If its the latter (or some variation of it) then you're creating...
Black sooting is normal in some conditions... Are you all stock? Any exhaust or tune mods? 1 qt per 500 miles is considered acceptable for these engines (especially pre-18+ models with first gen piston/rings). How is your driving habits? Loading these engines (high gear, low rpm acceleration)...
it is. I tried a few diff ones. CJPP which looked good but was too light (the factory knob weight was superior to it) and some others. Ashiko won out easily.
