  1. Georgia WTB: Wheels, Intake Manifold, Bumper, Hood, etc.

Good morning, I'm looking to purchase the following items in preferably a like-new condition before reaching out to vendors and buying brand new. Weld Wheels (S71 or S77 preferred but I'll entertain any style) GT350 Front Bumper Cervinis 4" Cowl Hood 2018 intake manifold (+1 if you include...
  2. Jacksonville shops

As said before, chris bishop over at Hurricane Performance really knows his stuff. I'm planning on dropping off my motor for a OPG/CS install at that shop. As far as exhaust work goes, S&S custom exhaust by St. Johns does incredibly great work and they're almost always packed. I got my long tube...
  3. 1Slow5PointOh - Gen2 Twin turbo MagnumXL build.

Good morning/afternoon everyone. I decided to finally accept the burning hole in my pocket that is my S550 and finally build something I've always wanted. I figured that I might as well start a build thread that way I can document the process for others, as well as for myself to reference if I...
  4. Vacuum Block/reference point

I've been digging through some previous posts but can't seem to find how anyone's vacuum block is actually set up. I've been eyeing the Motion Raceworks vacuum block as well as their vacuum port as the setup looks really clean, however it seems that the vacuum port only works with 11-17...
  5. 16' GT AC vent Boost gauge install done. Looks OEM Great!

I plan on tackling a project pretty soon installing an eboost2 and a ngauge into the autometer dual pod A pillar mount. Being a performance pack car and living in the south I can't stand the thought of losing another A/C vent.
  6. Air to Fuel Ratio - What's the Point?

It's actually helped me. I have long tube headers on my car and have been tuned by lund. I have had zero problems with my car, no hesitations, no codes, nothing. Recently though, my built in AFR gauge has been a static 14. Not moving in the slightest. I believe it's either an exhaust leak or a...
  7. On3 15-17 Twin Top Mount Kit And Fuel System Upgrade Install

If you haven't already, I'd take a look at "daryle wengerd" on youtube. He has one of the only install video's I've found for a 15+ top mount. After speaking to him a couple times, the only thing he absolutely recommends is changing out the kits provided manifold bolts. He has a side by side...
  8. On3 15-17 Twin Top Mount Kit And Fuel System Upgrade Install

I'll definitely be following this post and would love for you to continue documenting the process. I have the same kit and same fuel system waiting in my room for installation around march. Subscribing once i get back to my phone
  9. Hellhorse Twin Turbo Kit 93+ Boostane- Impressive

I'm pretty sure he's aware of the stock bottom end not lasting, hence the reason he said he was building an extra block on the side. Those same comp oil-less turbo's are the ones that are used in the LPF kits, and have been deep in the 8's. My point is, they're not some junk turbo. Curious as to...
  10. Turbo vs supercharger

Personally, I've always been a turbo guy since my first JZ car. Turbo's really aren't as complex as most people make them out to be. More efficient than traditional superchargers and the ability to up the boost at the push of a button vs swapping a pulley has always won me over.
  11. Engine oil?

I've always been a penzoil ultra platinum fan. I own a gen 2 and stick with the recommended 5w20 and a ford filter. Come spring time my car will see some major changes and this thread has me reconsidering what weight to use. It'll be a Gen 2 TT daily driven car. I live in Florida/Georgia so the...
  12. Gauges set up!

On this topic, I know some have enabled the boost gauge to be displayed on the cluster by enabling it through forscan. Has anyone mounted a eboost2 controller in a gauge pod setup? it seems like the only available gauge pod setup fits 52mm gauges, however the eboost2 controllers smallest size...
  13. On3 Performance TT kit

Still debating on dropping the k-member and engine/trans as one or unbolting the trans and pulling the engine through the top. I'm probably thinking dropping the k-member so i can swap out the front suspension as well.. Scavenge systems aren't something I want to deal with Daily driving a...
  14. On3 TT kit top mount s550 install

"Overboosting" can happen with any kit. On3 has been pretty reputable. Many S197's run their kits and have been proven to compete pretty well. Sure you're not going to get a direct bolt on kit. But if you're not willing to get your hands dirty and modify a thing or two I'd question if you need a...
  15. On3 Performance TT kit

Would it help? Likely. By how much I'm uncertain. I've heard the temps/heat soak is the worst part of the kit. I've watched his videos many times over to figure what I'm getting myself into. I plan on going T56 Magnum at the same time so the motor coming out seems like the best idea.
  16. On3 Performance TT kit

Would love to hear anyone's experience with on3 TT kits as there doesn't seem to be an existing thread about them. I've purchased the twin 61mm kit and looking for some recommendations as far as install goes and what others have done. I plan on doing a couple things in order to prolong the life...
  17. 1000cc or 1050x for 2018 GT Supercharged

Don't mean to hijack the thread, but is there a reason everyone goes 1050x? If DW 95lb or FIC 1000's flow virtually identical and are half the cost, why spend the extra money? Are they harder to tune?
  18. 2 YouTubers going to be rebuilding engine themselves after warranty denial.

A bit misleading. Itsjusta6 took his GT350 bone stock to the dealer after he bought it used private party. He wanted Ford technicians to do a rundown and make sure everything was healthy with the car. He paint marked some bolts and when he received the car back he noticed the bolts were never...
