Both. Whine started around 45, by 70 it was loud, Vibration was a buzz and by 80 it was a loud deep boom/ high speed rumble.

My car is getting a new diff assy. Had it in for the recall and mentioned the vibration and whine from the rear. Getting a new rear end next week.

Driveshaft vibration. Mine starts around 65. By 85 it's bad enough that you won't spend much time at that speed. Going to the dealer tomorrow.

I love my '16 tech! I wanted the seats, electronics. First hpde it went limp in six laps. I went home and ordered the parts and added trans and diff coolers. Three days to install the parts. 5 tracks days and 11,000mi later it still runs great. $2000 in parts and never looked back. That said...

Buy a Chrysler K car, paint it day glow orange. Just to remind what great historic cars they have built. Calling it a beater would be an insult to Chevy vega's.
