When I decided to buy a Mustang it was V8 or nothing! Added that the price difference between the V8 and EcoBoost wasn't THAT big. Go for the GT, you'll love it!
So I've had the car for 3 weeks now and I drove it for almost 900Kms. mostly on weekends since I'm too scared some reckless c*nt is gunna hit it on my daily commute.
My first impressions are mostly positive, I'd say 96% positive. First of all, this car is so different than anything I've drove...
I feel EXACTLY the same way. I'm not worried about myself doing the damage, it's the other drivers around me.
I live in an apartment, so I don't have my own garage, but there's a paid parking lot just beside my building which is where I park all my cars, and usually I'd park in the spot...
I've had the car for almost 3 weeks and I've drove it for only 600Kms unfortunately. I'm too scared to use it as my DD since I drive in bumper to bumper traffic and I'm worried it's gunna get hit by some c*nt. But I also don't want it to become a weekend car :headbonk:
I wish I can take a...
From my experience, I think heating is on the back and bottom, but cooling is only on the bottom. At least that's what I feel.
Either way, i don't think there's going to be a change in that matter. The same seats should be carried over to the next year model.
The combination of exterior and interior is important, and I think Magnetic with Red Line would look great. BUT at the end of the day, it's another grey car. Same thing with red over here. Too many red cars, and too many red mustangs! As everyone said though, it's a personal preference. Subtle...
I meant power folding mirrors. And yes, I expected a Mustang to have a simple button to fold the mirrors. If it can be equipped with Adaptive Cruise Control and so, it shouldn't have been a problem to add this.
I knew there wasn't a digital speedometer before I bought the car, and even though I really enjoy it on my GTi, it wasn't a deal breaker.
One question though, are the mirrors powered? I usually fold my mirrors when I'm parked, but I can't seem to find the button for it.
Is VIN the same as Chassis number or Engine number? When I picked up the car I asked about the bracket and if it was installed by the dealer and they said it came that way from the factory  ..
I'll be looking to change them in the future, unfortunately they are bigger than the number...
Thanks! I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to performance cars, and even though I thought they looked like functional vents, I was still freaking out since I wasn't sure.
BTW I found this diagram published by Ford explaining the Aero Curtains and how they work.
So as the title says, I'm kinda freaking out. This morning while I was driving past the Mustang (since I still use the GTi as my DD) I noticed something weird.
At the bottom of the front bumper, just between the fog lights and the edge of the bumper, there's a gap. It's on both sides of the...
TBH I dunno how you thought the Challenger handles better than the S550. Also "noticeably" slower than the previous gen? I know the new Mustang put on some weight, but in real world driving I don't think it's THAT noticeable.
Yeah they offer both plate numbers, but the bracket that came from the factory takes only the normal one (as shown in the picture). Unless I wanna mount the plate number on the bumper.
Maybe the navigation have the GCC maps, but I doubt it. I won't be needing them anyway.
What I meant is that without you mentioning it I most probably wouldn't have noticed it. TBH I still can't quiet see the difference in size. Maybe you get bigger mirrors if you have BLIS?
I can. But seriously why would I wanna import an AMERICAN car into America? I think it would be...
Thanks! I'll take better pictures when I get a chance. I'm just enjoying the car for now.
I was a bit worried after reading about people in the US with alignment problems, but didn't really notice anything on my car. I guess I got lucky.
I didn't know it was gunna come with Black...
MORE PICTURES!
So I picked up the car today. What can I say, simply AMAZING! I've drove it for 200 KMs' already! Some more pictures just before I picked it up.
P.S. I dunno how to resize the pictures to fit on the screen, so I'm sorry about that.
The car came with those license plate holders (front & back), although the front is different than the rear. I'm not sure if they came from Ford or the dealer.
Thanks! As I said earlier, it's pretty hard to show the true color of Competition Orange in pictures. Good luck, the wait is worth...
