I didn’t know they have Grabber Blue for 2022. Is it like that “Smurf” blue from 2014?
Also, seeing that you’re in Brisbane, where did you end up ordering from? Finding it hard to find a decent salesperson who actually knows about the Mustang, and can assist with the ordering process and price...
Thanks for all the advise and suggestions. It looks like I'll be heading towards a '22MY California Special. I'm not sure about the color yet. Initially I wanted Shadow Black but I'm not sure how that would look on a California Special. Maybe Race Red or Dark Matter? 🤔
I like that idea. I wish...
Hey everyone!
It’s good to be back. I’ll try to make this post as short as possible.
I used to live in Dubai and I was one of the first to get a 2015 S550. Loved the car and I regret not driving it enough. Fast forward and now I live in Australia.
I’m in a place where I’m ready to buy a new...
So my younger brother recently moved to LA and he's looking to buy his first car. I'm not sure about the process of purchasing a vehicle in USA, in terms of financing, insurance etc. but most importantly I need to know where to start looking.
For those who live in LA or California, do you...
I'm not located in USA. The mechanic took about 6 hours to install everything, I'm sure most of that time was spent on the headers. Yet, $350 is a lot of money for any installation, BUT with headers it seems about right.
Thanks! It's amazing how these things make the car that much better.
I didn't do it myself I live in an apartment. I paid $325 to get the headers and CAI installed. Not bad I'd say.
Until earlier this week all I've had done to the car was a set of Eibach lowering springs and Borla Atak catback. I was happy with these mods... for a start :)
The lowering springs made the car look better, and of course the catback made it sound much much better, and louder! But was it...
That doesn't sound easy. I thought I just have to remove the old one and replace it with the new one, what fluid are you talking about?
I'm probably not going to do the installation myself, but I'd like to know just in case the installer has no idea.
How exactly do you install a thermostat? I have ordered the Reische 170, but I can't seem to find any videos regarding the installation. Or is it too simple and I'm just a noob?
I thought you need to do the inspection after 4 years. If that's the case I say put them headers and enjoy, God knows what's gunna happen in 4 years time.
That escalated quickly. Anyway, it's a personal preference. Unlike some people who choose to have catted for inspection reasons, I am not obligated to, and I have no emission regulations. But that doesn't mean I would like to smell like fuel, also I would like to avoid any raspiness in the sound...
From what I've read everywhere it says the difference is very minimal, so I'm not sure about your dyno numbers TBH.
Right there, someone says half the power, and the other says 5-10 rwhp. I went with catted to avoid the fuel smell knowing there will also be a very small loss in power.
Yes, more than I'd like really. Mustang owners here are the worst. They know nothing about the car, and most of them just buy it for looks, and of course, the cheapest Mustang money can buy.
That's good to know. It's just conditions here can get pretty harsh during the summer, and that's when usually "American" vehicles start to break down. I've had no problems whatsoever last summer though, but my car was bone stock as well.
Either way that's not going to stop me from modding. I...
I'm worried about the air inlet temp.
I live in the Middle East hot climate, not only that, but there are a lot of traffic lights, also sometimes I have to drive in stop-and-go traffic. Will I be facing any problems, and most importantly will I be causing any damage to the drivetrain due to...
