  1. Ford Performance Tune for 2018+ GT

Thanks for your observations about the install. I will take some before and after shots of the hood to see if I have similar issues. Currently mine is lined up pretty well, though I’ve seen people add some washers to help their alignment. Hoping to find time this weekend.
  2. Question regarding SP763 springs

I agree, after digging through more of the discussion on failures. The most intriguing thing to me was the mention of a revised BMR design, that alone is worth holding out for prior to installing an aftermarket mount. At this point, I’m waiting more so that I can evaluate changes systematically...
  3. Question regarding SP763 springs

After some reading, I do like the idea of a sacrificial mount that some offer, but the extra travel certainly makes the J&M more desirable. I plan on installing what I have and coming back to evaluate the shock mounts later.
  4. Question regarding SP763 springs

While I don’t experience the kind of winters you do, we don’t have the best roads either. A combo of predominantly flat terrain (sitting water) and temperatures which create near daily expansion/compression cycling, we have terribly pot hole filled roads and lots of poor patchy areas. All that...
  5. Question regarding SP763 springs

Thanks for the feedback. Did you create a single hole in each section or do you have multiple per section at some degree of spacing between? Regarding my component selection, performance oriented street car is the plan. I daily the car and would appreciate a more controlled ride with some...
  6. Question regarding SP763 springs

Just to be sure - should these still be trimmed down to the same height as recommended by lowering spring installation instructions? I have seen that they’re more compliant than stock and do not include the collar, and that folks are drilling them rather than cutting them. What has your...
  7. Indiana Delete WTB: 2018+ GT active shutter housing

Edit: I’m only looking for the shutter housing at this point.
  8. GT 2018 GT underbelly pan and splitter

Any chance this is still available? Do you have the H/W available as well? Down in Indy, 46268
  9. What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

  11. 2018 MT-82 Lockouts?

I also have a Barton 2 post bracket and have been very happy with it. It fixes the alignment issues between the body mounted shifter and the transmission in almost all cases. Yes, a full blown trans mounted MGW or Barton shifter would do better, but the bracket is much cheaper and a shorter install.
  12. Picture request; Ruby red S550 with Bronze wheels?

Ruby with bronze was once what I was set on doing, so I remember looking for photos a while back. Finding some more. https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/sold-2016-ruby-red-gt-premium-perf-pack-401a-and-a-ton-of-mods.84224/

Dang. You’ve probably already looked here then too? Not the easiest to search, not everyone describes their car. https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/post-pix-of-your-s550-with-aftermarket-wheels-and-tires.15709/

  15. Digital dash oil gauge question.

Yes, I’ve seen that mentioned before. Definitely something I pay attention to during winter more so than summer, especially after realizing it can take half my commute to stabilize. And if memory serves, we don’t have a true oil temperature on these cars; it’s estimated. Making the pressure...
  16. Digital dash oil gauge question.

My point to the OP was not to discount this gauge or believe it to be static. You’ve got me on the coldstart pressure, poor memory on my part. When you say real pressure gauge, are you referring to one other than the digital gauge in the dash? Not having the PP, I don’t recall if that’s one of...
  17. Digital dash oil gauge question.

Have you tried looking under heavier throttle? Mine will spike up to a higher pressure. Generally around 30 at cold start, and the same 22 once warm. Regular cruising doesn’t really nudge it, try looking once over 3500 rpm or so. Personally I run that area without any gauges selected, giving...
  18. Wow, I didn't realize how much a weighted shift knob would improve the feel of the MT-82!

Lathewerks does offer leather wraps for their weighted shifters.
  19. Let's get some data on S550 coyote OPG failures

  20. Wow, I didn't realize how much a weighted shift knob would improve the feel of the MT-82!

A few people in the shift knobs thread picked them up from here: https://core-shifters.com/pages/shifters Shift knob thread and pictures: https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/official-6g-shift-knob-pics-thread.24067/page-82#post-2497388
