  1. Rear license plate mounting

I thought I was anal... lol Drilled small pilot holes before screwing in the self tapping screws to minimize any chance of cracks. Also put small cushions behind the license plate to prevent any rubbing.. lol
  2. Digital to analog instrument cluster?

When pushing the car I could care less about the speedometer honestly and the F1-style / 'sideways bar' tach provides a good visual cue in your peripheral vision and is very easy to read. I'm MUCH more interested in all the critical temp and oil pressure information that you can freely...
  3. Digital to analog instrument cluster?

You can draw almost an exact parallel to modern aircraft. I don't think you can even buy one without a glass cockpit anymore. Most pilots (myself included) seem to agree that well designed digital instrumentation improves situational awareness, safety and can reduce task saturation. Similarly...
  4. Digital to analog instrument cluster?

No way in hell I'd go back to an analog. Interestingly, the digital instrument cluster system was developed by a Finnish software company Rightware. Makes it even more special to me since I was born in Finland.
  5. Ground Effects Issue

No they're fine as long as you're careful taking them out. I used the same ones. Probably don't want to reuse the same pins over and over 100 times but a one-time removal should be fine...
  6. Considering moving from a 350 to 500

That’s what I’ve been thinking for a long time also, 350R with a DCT would be mental.
  7. Ground Effects Issue

Known issue: TLDR - got mine fixed by removing all bottom pushpins and just wiggling it back in place. Push pins back in - it's been fine for a few weeks now. Thread: https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/loose-side-splitter.149465/
  8. 2020 GT500 results from Car and Driver Lightning Lap 2021

Doesn't really matter. Even the CFTP, although more track-focused, provides a very nice ride that one _could_ easily daily. The 1LE in comparison rides like absolute garbage.
  9. Ford Performance Rain Tray Decal now available

    Looks nice, ordered :)
  10. 2020 GT500 Total Units Built - By Color

Same. A lot of the colors are very flat in person (Twister Orange, Grabber Lime, Race Red etc). I would only get FPB, Velocity Blue or Rapid Red due to the depth they have.
  11. How Many Miles on Your GT500?

Fix the underlying issue maybe? Disagree on it being a waste also.
  12. 2020 GT500 Total Units Built - By Color

Funny, literally all GT500s I've seen out in the wild have been Twister Orange :)
  13. 2020/21 Shelby GT500 Financing (Interest Rates)

I’ve used LightStream in the past. It’s an unsecured loan so you keep the title.
  14. 2020 GT500 results from Car and Driver Lightning Lap 2021

Eh. A ZL1 1LE rides like absolute dog shit on the street. If you had ever driven one you would know.
  15. Partial PPF question

Yep, definitely agree. I try to keep the visible seam as clean as possible. Also I've noticed the films must have evolved over the past 5-6 years compared to my old Viper - with mine it's _really_ hard to tell the difference between covered / non-covered panels. The partial rear quarter panel...
  16. Partial PPF question

I have a partial XPEL on the rear quarters. Not very visible at all to me especially when the car is clean.
  17. Twinjet Vmp 69 mm

Not a very good idea to clean a polished part with sand paper. 🙄
  18. Cracks in Hood Support

No crack here but my passenger side hood pin has always been harder to depress also. I lowered the passenger side hood stop a bit and now they're equal. Good to know!
