I think the prior owner was a big boy. I have the Recaro package and I love them. I’m 6 foot, 190, I fit in the seat like it was made for me. But the last owner put a beating on the driver seat.
The left thigh bolster the foam has been smashed down and I can feel the plastic poking up in the...
Ugh those poor cars. I wonder what stability control status was in all those wrecks. This car isn’t unstable. It doesn’t have snap oversteer. You really gotta give it input to get it sideways.
Looking to film in car video at an event coming up. I have a generic Go-pro. How are people mounting these things in the car? I want it about eye level but I don’t see a way to do it without wearing a helmet.
How is your camera mounted in your car?
I always feel the same way with these comparisons. In my opinion, there is nothing better than the GT350. It really is that good.
If you took any one piece away, it would be far less magical than it is. But with everything put together, the car is just perfect. It’s perfect for me. If I had to...
The most obvious question. If I can get a Z06 for the same price, why am I picking the Mustang. It’s not even a GT500.
Why are they screwing this up so badly. They have the blueprint from the GT350 and the GT500.
If I owned the car I would not be happy relying on octane booster for its real endurance flogging at a track.
It’s not a 350Z on test and tune night. This is a brand new dark horse with a blower. This is a high dollar project. If you owned it, would you want to rely on booster? Why half ass it...
The new hybrid/graphene line is outstanding. I’ve got a dozen bottles of more expensive stuff collecting dust. The flex wax is chefs kiss and so is the green ceramic spray and the pink 3 in 1 spray.
Adams graphene quick detailer is also spectacular.
Nice to see more budget friendly products...
I got this weird grinding sound I can barely hear under low speed braking from the back left. Cant see anything odd other than some wear and tear on the rotor.
guess I’m gonna have to pull the trigger and yank the wheel off and see what I can see.
Just curious when you all had to replace rotors/pads. I’m at 40k miles, no track time, daily drive it but only 5-10 miles a day.
I’m starting to see wear on both front and rear rotors, but it’s not obvious to me how much rotor life is left. Pads still pretty thick, rotors showing a bit more wear...
This car is something else. It’s not the fastest car I have owned. Doesn’t have the most horsepower. Is not as modified as some of my other ones.
But it is special. I’m not sure if it’s the looks, the sound, the fact that it’s a “Shelby”, for whatever reason, it is an absolute magnet for...
Better is subjective. It all depends on so many variables it’s hard to say. In general, most cars benefit from additional negative camber for track use. But it is likely different front to back, and dependent on other suspension parts. Like anything else, it’s a trade off. I knew guys running...
Been thinking about it for the longest time. That MGW shifter setup looks like a work of art. That and a new steering wheel are at the top of my list. I love the alcantara but I live in a hot state. The fabric just makes my hand sweat so bad. A nice cool leather wrapped wheel is what I want...
About 40k. I got transmission serviced about 5k miles ago and didn’t notice anything different so I’m guessing it’s not fluid related.
I’m probably just making a mountain out of a molehill. It’s not really a problem I can replicate. It just happens so randomly.
Sounds logical. It’s not a huge issue yet. I have some work planned for a few months from now. I will add transmission fluid and service and inspection to the list while it’s on the lift.
What’s the labor time on an issue like that in general?
Anyone have an issue with 1st gear popping out when at a stoplight? Sometimes when I put it in gear, and then take my hand off the shifter, it jumps out to neutral.
I have been making a conscious effort to make sure it’s fully seated now, it’s possible I was being sloppy the first few times...
I am running Stainless Works long tubes with high flow cats, resonator delete, factory mufflers with valve. It’s loud. I can’t even imagine how much worse it would be with no cats.
Keep in mind, it’s much harder to get away with stuff once you get long tubes. If I get aggressive, every cop in...
