  1. Ford PP 2 Pinging

I haven't been able to do it yet unfortunately - I've been quite unwell and have had a lot of other stuff going on with work and renovations, so the Mustang hasn't had any attention or use. I've had the plugs sitting there for some time. Will hopefully be getting them fitted within the next...
  2. Clinched Flares Spider Top

Have you got a link to the Clinched carrying bag at all? I had a look and can't find anything.
  3. Ford PP 2 Pinging

I I've gone for LTR7IX-11 (6510), one step colder than the stock plug. Should be here tomorrow, so I'll fit them and give it a test. I believe they come gapped to 0.043, I may take that to 0.047 or something, to the lower end of the factory gap range.
  4. Ford PP 2 Pinging

Just looked a bit further - our 98RON Premium Unleaded is apparently equal to roughly 93 AKI. However our fuel is a bit average here compared to the US and Europe.
  5. Ford PP 2 Pinging

Sheesh, that sounds dreadful. One of the worst typewriter ticks I've heard. We don't seem to get it as prevalent over here - Ford Australia stipulates 5W30 for our Coyotes, rather than the 5W20 you guys run over there. Mine is definitely pinging - happens 2000-3500rpm under load and goes away...
  6. Ford PP 2 Pinging

They measure our gas in RON over here in Australia, 98 is the highest octane pump gas we have. It's supposed to be roughly equivalent to 92 MON. I have tried octane booster and it stops the pinging, but unfortunately I'm already using the highest octane gas we can get. I've picked up a set of...
  7. Ford PP 2 Pinging

Bringing this one back up, I spoke to our local Ford Performance distributor here in Australia - his suggestion was use the procal to switch octane adjust off, then back on and do KAM reset. I did that and was shocked to find no pinging - then after some more engine start cycles it came back...
  8. Help identifying turn signal and marker light pigtails

Thanks, but I wasn't looking for the socket itself, but a pigtail with a male connector. The DD turn signals have a male connector attached to the wiring, so they do exist, but for the life of me I can't find where to get one.
  9. Help identifying turn signal and marker light pigtails

Hi all, I'm currently in the process of trying to fit a pair of Diode Dynamics sequential front turn signal housings to my AU spec 2017 GT. Our turn signal wiring is slightly different in that we don't have the third wire for the marker light in the turn signal bulb. I've made up a very rough...
  10. GT350 intake with GT500 airbox / cover?

Why not use a fright forwarder like MyUS or something. I've been doing it for years - free or cheap domestic shipping, then significantly cheaper shipping.
  11. Front Number Plate Holder - Discount Code: "Mustang6G" @ LakinPlates

Yes, unfortunately Philip passed away last year according to another post I saw. Probably the only option is to get a plastic Kingpin bracket from Autobarn and bend it to shape.
  12. Preview: Diode Dynamics LED Turn Signal Housings!

@Diode Dynamics bringing this old thread back up, did an international version ever happen? Basically the only difference with ours is that we have a seperate indicator with a 2-pin (power and ground) connection for each the indicator and marker light.
  13. Started on the Clinched Spider Top install (with antenna relocation bracket(s))

That will be why they are there. In not sure whether unplugging them will cause any issues or whatnot.
  14. Started on the Clinched Spider Top install (with antenna relocation bracket(s))

Is yours an Ecoboost by any chance? From what I can gather the Ecoboost has some sort of sensors/microphone or something that works with the noise cancellation. Might explain what you are looking at. I haven't seen those on a GT, but admittedly haven't seen a 21 GT either.
  15. fiberglass tonneau cover

Ok, so I finally got around to test fitting mine, which fitted straight up pretty well. It was raining here today, so I didn't get any photos of the whole car, or outside the garage. I'll try and get some this week weather permitting. Thanks to @FAnsari for the advice re needing to adjust it...
  16. Cracking at top of A pillar - 2017 GT convertible

The left hand side is concerning with what would appear to be corrosion present.
  17. Cracking at top of A pillar - 2017 GT convertible

They are definitely cracks, maybe in the seam sealer possibly. I can't get a photo, but the LHS joint under the corner of the windshield looks to have a small amount of corrosion and a small gap. Will have to have the windshield removed to diagnose further.
  18. Cracking at top of A pillar - 2017 GT convertible

Hi there, Just wondering if anyone has experienced cracking at the top corners of the windshield? I just noticed this when washing mine this afternoon. Looks like a conversation with Ford needs to happen. 😒
  19. fiberglass tonneau cover

Thanks for the tip, I will do that. Just out of curiosity, was it fitting the side covers that needed tweaking, or other areas too?
  20. fiberglass tonneau cover

I ended up getting stung quite badly with import duties, which reminded me why I was always 'careful' with the paperwork in the past for more expensive items. Anyway, it should be here next week, then I'll take it in to get painted Oxford White. My hood had to be replaced under warranty, but...
