  1. Aftermarket Driver Track Seat

I don't see why it wouldn't work as long as you: Don't care about putting the car back to stock EVER Will be super careful with your measuring and welding Don't need to lower the seat much below stock Understand that you will still get an airbag warning light without other work
  2. Aftermarket Driver Track Seat

In my case I used the Sparco Mustang base with no slider. With my seat there is no height available for the slider and I also had to modify the base to make it lower at the back. Less tall Sparco seats will work with the Sparco slider.
  3. Shelby GT350 meet and greet 2021 in NW Indiana.

Will be at Gingerman tonight for Test-n-Tune evening. Missed the event on the 16th as I was still on my way back from the West Coast. (7,000+ mile road trip).
  4. Zeck Ford Itasca, TX

The film of oil on, for example, a camshaft lobe does indeed get thinner as time goes by. After 6 days it is still sufficient to protect the surface upon startup but after 4-6 months that protection is far less. If it were just one startup after that length of time you will likely be OK but...
  5. Zeck Ford Itasca, TX

It all depends on the price I suppose but the 19+ cars have the engine that doesn't wolf down oil plus the improved chassis setup, coolers, etc. If the price were similar between this car "new" and a <20,000 mile 19 with service history I would go with the 19 all day long. Sitting unused...
  6. gt350 x pipes

No one that I have seen has been able to prove that any other X-pipe shows a significant power gain over the OEM one. The "merging" type are simpler (cheaper) to manufacture in moderate numbers though, which likely explains their popularity along with the fact that they look like they would...
  7. Video of stock GT350 followed by mine with Kooks long tube headers

    I regret that I can't as I don't own the videos.
  8. Zeck Ford Itasca, TX

Bear in mind that after 4 years the engine and any other moving parts will likely be significantly compromised. You would do waaay better IMO to buy a used 2019 or 2020.
  9. Dash cameras and the law....

There are cameras everywhere these days. My advice is assume that everything you do outside your house is being recorded. Act accordingly and you won't have to worry about a dash cam.
  10. Video of stock GT350 followed by mine with Kooks long tube headers

No issues. The only light I have is the airbags because of the seat swap.
  11. Video of stock GT350 followed by mine with Kooks long tube headers

You may want to search for my original post with pics etc. as I discuss the fact that it sounds (to me) pretty bad when the exhaust is closed and stupid loud when open - on the road. If I was going to mostly use this car on the road I would have left it alone but this is my track toy.
  12. Video of stock GT350 followed by mine with Kooks long tube headers

Kooks all the way to the rear mufflers except for the added resonators. Most engine failures with these Gen2 cars seem to be dropped valves which is not something they are likely to blame on a tune that is effectively a slight tweak.
  13. Video of stock GT350 followed by mine with Kooks long tube headers

Here is another where you can here the stock on better. This was another GT350. There were 4 there this weekend!
  14. Video of stock GT350 followed by mine with Kooks long tube headers

There aren't many good comparisons so I thought that I would post this. The 1st car is a stock GT350, the red one is mine - Kooks long tube headers, off-road downpipes & X-pipe plus 18" x 4" round resonators and OEM mufflers.
