Like I said ALL highway roads in the Santa Cruz mountains are great and its hard to choose just one favorite. BUT if I had to pick one route thats my favorite it would be highway 9 starting in Felton, to 35 (Skyline), then down 84 to highway 1. From there it's a nice ride along the coast either...
Thanks! I'm right now waiting on a Roush spoiler, once I install that I'm going to apply vinyl stripes. I'm looking at the MMD racing stripes in gloss black.
The other things on the list are suspension upgrades and a supercharger or CAI, having a hard time deciding on which.
I did think about it, but after seeing them installed I'm not going too.
I personally think they're perfect as is since the extractor plastic matches all other exterior plastics.
I thought about the grill delete but since I have the bliss system my lower grill is different. I didn't think it'd look as good. But I am thinking of getting the upper MMD grill if that ever comes out.
I saw these cars around 3:30 pm.
And I know what you mean, last time my buddy and I drove back from Santa Cruz at 5 we we're stuck in traffic for at least an hour. This time when we headed home we went the long way, which is more fun anyways. Took Graham Hill Rd to Felton, then took highway 9...
That stretch of road between San Jose and Santa Cruz is still officially 17. 880 ends and 17 starts at 280.
But even if it all became 880, I'd still call it 17.
Over the weekend I installed the Roush heat extractors, it was a bigger pain in the ass than I anticipated but in the end I'm REALLY happy with the results.
One issue though, looking at how these are installed I question how much heat they're actually extracting. It does look like air can flow...
Yesterday I went out for a LONG drive. I was heading towards Santa Cruz on 17 and three 2015 Mustangs drove past going in the opposite direction. Blue, silver, and black (I think). They were all fairly close, maybe within 3 - 10 cars of each other.
Just curious if that was anyone on the...
I agree, the stock spoiler doesn't quite fit the body lines as well as it could. The Roush spoiler on the other hand I think fits the Mustangs lines very well, and its placement is perfect. I just ordered one, I'm hoping it looks as good in person as it does in pictures.
I've noticed this too. Throttle response changes depending on the mode, for example the car will be more aggressive sounding with less throttle in track mode vs normal.
I thought the same thing, this front end looks like it was ripped right off the Charger. Horrible design choices in my opinion. Also going from tri-bar brake lights to dual-bar bothers me, the tri-bar is one of the most iconic designs on the car.
I'm getting about 13mpg strictly in town, but I blame the low mpgs on my Stainless Works h-pipe exhaust. It just sounds so damn good I can't help but put my foot in it and blip it at every opportunity.
I think I looked at the same installer. To pricey for me but their installs defiantly looked worth that $4k price tag.
My last car had 3M/Venture film clear bra, DO NOT GET THIS BRAND. After 4 years it was in pretty bad shape, the worst part is that film stained. This time I went with SunTek...
