  1. Help identifying drivetrain noise?

So.. the car developed this noise out of the blue. Anybody here familiar with this kind of noise? What is the likely culprit? [ame] Here are the facts: - 37k miles, OEM clutch, procharger car between 550-600 whp - Clutch does not slip at WOT - All gears are harder to engage - 'Hissing' noise...
  2. High Speed Fuel Economy

when i was stock cruising at 80mph i'd get ~24-25 MPG calculated through fuelly. 65mph cruise I got 27-28. 28.4 is I think the highest I ever recorded. now that i'm supercharged, all highway 80mph cruise my average is around 22 MPG. forgot to add, 3.55 gears and MT82
  3. 19x10 +42 SQUARED. Will It Fit?

    19x10 +40 on a 275 35. i don't run a spacer but if i wanted to fit a 285 i'd get a 5mm in the fronts. i'd run a 5mm spacer and you should be good to go pics below: https://i.imgur.com/Jpf5iYi.jpg DSC_0071 by Jae Choi, on Flickr
  4. 20x9.5 w/ +45 285/30 or 285/35 up front?

    you'd need a 5mm spacer in the front. i'm running a 19x10 et40 (basically the same strut clearance as a 9.5 et45) with a 275 35 tire and i don't think i have room for a 285. why don't you want to run a 275? 285 would start to look bloated on a 9.5 anyway. https://imgur.com/a/T9jvx
  5. offset question

you can just do 9.5 +22 all around. even with a +22 youd need to run a bit of tire stretch and camber to get those flush, i think about 30 offset is flush fitment on a 9.5 with stock alignment. i'm all for those wheels though. always nice to see something unique.
  6. Daily Driving the Ford Performance Track Handling Pack

i got the track handling pack, perfectly daily drivable. i'd say its about as stiff as a stock wrx sti
  7. Spacers, lugnuts, torque spec

ran CJPP spacers for about 10k miles, torqued spacer to the hub at 148 ft lbs, and wheels to the spacer at 148 ft llbs rotated tires several times, autocrossed on em, drag raced on em, when i took it off for a new set of wheels it still looked brand new. no damage to the aluminum or the studs...

  9. Flush wheel spacing on GT

stock 19x8.5 et42.5, 25mm spacers, 1'' lowered. 20mm is perfectly flush on stock alignment, but imo it's not worth trimming your studs. it's never rubbed on me even during autox events. the PP wheel offset is 3mm more aggressive than these. pretty much unnoticeable. DSC_0042 DSC_0020...

  11. Procharged 2016 GT/CS Journal

It's been a while, because it's been cold and nothing's been happening to the car. I've been meaning to get myself a catch can for a while, so when I saw UPR's system for a good price, I decided to jump on it. Packaging was good, and the lines all come pre cut, although mine did not come...

  14. Procharged 2016 GT/CS Journal

So it’s the Midwest and it’s started to snow. The car’s been put away, and a lot has changed in the year and a half I’ve owned it. So thought I’d take a couple hours and write up what’s been done to the car. First off, it’s a 2016 GT California Special. - 400a w/ nav - MT82 - 3.55 rear...
  15. Most miles boosted on stock clutch

so far 14k boosted, 34k total. dragged / autocrossed / goes into boost every time i drive it. at the last event i noticed after doing 4 1/4 passes back to back it slips a little between gear changes. but let it cool and on the street / autocross it's perfectly fine. but i'm guessing it's on its...

  18. Procharger guys on stock tranny and clutch

32k miles, 12k boosted, about 30-40 passes boosted slipping the clutch at 2k and tons of autocross. just at the most recent night at the strip clutch started to slip a bit between the gears. still driving on it on the street and it's been fine there. edit: street tires only
