Ford confirmed that my car is not part of the recall
Built date is 11/6/15
This makes me think (hope) Ford has identified specific batches of defective parts and is therefore able to select the cars to be recalled.
OK Thanks a lot !!
I wonder if it's because mine is not included (suprising given its date) or if it is no more in Ford listings because considered exported....
Hello,
Based on this site,
https://vinrcl.safercar.gov/vin/
Mine is NOT on the list but this surprises me given it was built before Sept 2016.
But I could not run it through the Ford site to double check, due to my location (Europe)
Could one of you try from the US?
Here is my VIN number...
Hi,
I have the same issue, which started at around 8000kms and is now very noticeable in 2nd gear, above 4kRPM.
This is not a "normal" vibration but rather an annoying rattle (my S2000 used to vibrate at 9kRPM but no rattle).
Obviously interested if that can be easily fixed
This was indeed an interesting experience!
First time at the ring for me.
If you go there I highly recommend the taxi Ring, which for us was an E92 M3 with modified suspension and brakes (and a pilot with more than 3000 laps under his belt). It was just immense for our first time ever on the...
Surprized to read that the highest level is the right one.
I've actually specifically asked 2 mechanics about that (my dealer and another one during a road trip), we checked the level together, and they both said that it should be the lower level.
It seemed to make sense to me because the...
I guess I'm with you on the panel gaps but not something I think of if not mentioned by others.
Interior is definitely under average for the price you pay for this car in Europe, but that only annoys me when somebody else raises the point.
The paint is a significant issue for me right now as I...
Thanks Caballus
Just placed a call and they informed me that they do not provide owners with this supplement for export vehicles, including Mexico (mine is a Mexican car).
I guess I will have to live without it ☹️
Hi Everyone, if you already contacted FP for this, could you please share contact details.
I don't have too much hope to receive mine as I bought the car from an independent American cars specialist here in France and FP probably lost track of the car, but it's still worth a try. Thanks !
Same here, noticed this morning that the coolant level was just under mini.
I topped it up but then noticed that the hose coming from the tank seems to slowly leak, right at the connexion with the tank...
It may have been like this from the beginning but just hope the hose will not detach itself...
Thinking about going to 305/30 instead of 305/35 for the rear (as PSS are not available in Europe in that size), but worried about speed indicator, and potential impact if I keep the 35 in the front (car sitting on its rear...)
Real issues or minor IYO ?
Did happen to me a few times as well (let say 3 Times in the past 3 months).
My Honda S2000 used to do it as well and I just got used to properly engaging the first gear (which you can actually hear) before releasing the clutch.
I consider this normal but would be interested to know if there...
I had the same issues a few days ago and changing the thermostat fixed it.
I also wonder if the new part is different and if it will not stick open again in the future... I'm carefully monitoring all temperatures now but it's been over 2 weeks and so far no issue.
