Hi @Tank thanks for the maintenance of this very very useful thread !
One quick question/comment, when following the link of FORD CALLS FOR STUDBOLT REPLACEMENT it does not seem to go to the proper post.
My A/C stopped working (again, 3rd time, new compressor is only 4 months old....) so want...
Only did a quick check.... but it seems indeed that switching fuses does not solve the issue and fans keeps turning slow even at start....
will buy a few fuses and change them just to be sure the defroster fuse is not dead also (who knows, but yeah, very unlikely). Otherwise will bring it to...
Update
I followed troubleshooting process from JAJ and indeed, both fans were turning since I started the engine, and both stopped after pulling fuse FC1 (89).
I’m away in weekend, so I guess I can switch fuses 76 and 89, 76 being rear window defroster on my diagram and showing similar features...
Hi everyone,
Been a while since posting (although I read :)
Just a quick video with the Shelby which is now 50k kilometers and still a joy to drive !!
Did a camber/caster plate mount and track geometry to limit under-steering, worked well
Hi all,
Saw a few posts on the subject in other sections of the forum but never saw it on the GT350 (and also never saw it resolved).
My cooling fans keep turning, even at low temperature. The engine never gets out of normal running temperatures, so rather than any sort of engine overheating I...
Hi everyone
Like many of you, my 2 years old GT350 already had:
- leak in the AC system (hose apparently)
- compressor died a few months ago
Now it seems that I have water dripping inside the car on the passenger side, near the center console...
Any idea what that is ? Thinking about the...
Thanks !
Yes to maintain the powerslide with this angle indeed you need to turn everything off, and that’s 5 seconds or so the TC button.
You can train by putting the car in track though as it will let you take a bit of angle but clearly not that much
Hi everyone
Another video I shot yesterday (under 1min for insta :-)
The more I drive it the more I LOVE this car !!!!
(Test drove latest Vantage a few days ago and my god it feels flat vs. the GT350...)
Yes it does have a warranty but with the shop which imported it and not with Ford (as the GT350 is not supposed to be here in Europe...) so cannot just go to the closest Ford dealership...
And all parts have to come from the US with significant taxes / shipping.... the downside of owning a rare...
Went to the dealer this morning
Indeed it's the air con compressor vibrating and making a "whinning" noise.
Will disconnect it for now to avoid it breaking it entirely and then I guess I'll have to buy & put a new one on.
Thanks !
Hi everyone,
Had a few days off this week and took the opportunity to film a little video with the Shelby. Not professional but did everything myself with a GoPro so it’s the best I can do :-)
Driving back home (drove over 2k km) I started hearing a squealing sound that comes and...
Hi everyone, a quick update.
Motor responsible for opening the valve on the left side was changed but it did not fix the issue. We have confirmed that the old motor was dead by installing it on the other exhaust - would not open the valve. When putting the new motor on this other side it does...
Went to my mechanics and we tested the motor responsible for opening the valve and concluded it was dead... Have ordered a new one
Thanks for your advices !! will keep you posted
So I've tried to specifically press the left side of the gaz pedal and weirdly it does not change the issue - too bad I was convinced this would work....
I checked this morning and the valve on the left remains closed, and the one on the right opens up when changing driving modes. This...
