I've been seeing ads for Mustangs on this site forever.
Finally one caught my eye and I've been looking at it for a few days trying to decide whether I should pursue upgrading to a Mach 1 or not.
Next to grabber lime, grabber blue is my color of choice.
Anyway, this one particular car seems...
Forgive me for being a little off topic......
I wonder if those blocks that grip the carpet in the trunk, would be strong enough to hold a 50-60 pound bag of rocks right up behind the rear seats, without it skidding all over when I accelerate hard?
Reason I ask is I had to pick up two 50 pound...
It was one of the furthest out spots and kinda in the shade.
The bird shit is mainly from the grackles roosting at night.
My car made it unscathed!
But good eye........π
It was definitely some kind of oil.
I looked all under the rear end of the car.
And when it was clean I looked in the trunk, a small bottle of Dawn i'd left in a milk crate I keep in the trunk had fallen over and of course popped the lid open. But only about a teaspoon of concentrate leaked...
Drove it to lunch today.
Parked way out as usual.
Came out after lunch to a puddle of some kind of oil under it?
Came home and put it on the ramps and the underside is dry as can be and clean as a whistle?
I know the oil wasn't there when I parked and walked in, because I'd have noticed it.
Is...
Thanks. I was shooting for as many swirl marks as possible.
Oh wait. I dried it off first. But thanks for your input.
I think it looked muddy because the touchless doesn't REALLY get the film off and then it gets waxed over at the auto car wash every week. Till I finally clay bar it again...
I got some new summer tires mounted and balanced the other day.
Finally got around to mounting them on the car yesterday.
They're Nitto 555r11's in 315/35r20.
They're enormous and replace the 305's I bought this time last year.
What a shitty picture, I had to mess with it to even be able to see...
I took the old gal to the touchless car wash, then when I got home I did a clay bar treatment on the horizontal surfaces using Griot's Ceramic Speed Shine.
The hood looked like in had muddy water on it as I was doing it.
I followed it up with a quick coat of Griot's Ceramic 3 in 1 Wax.
The old...
I've got em on the back of my 2020 Mustang GT A10.
I live in central Texas and these are actually my winter tires.
My rears are 315/35/20 on 11 inch rims.
I have nitto r11's on another set of wheels for summer, which turns out to be 9 months of the year.
I just got them mounted around...
Swapped out my woman's body color blade type spoiler for the GT350 track pack spoiler from Ford.
Got it from LMR, great guys. Came in in about 2 days after ordering.
The original came off pretty easy. Used 2 hair dryers and a wide plastic puddy knife.
The new one lined up and fit perfectly...
I bought a clean 05 GT with just 28k on it when it was 12 years old.
Great car, I drove it for 3 years and sold it with only 60k on it for exactly what I'd paid for it!
But every night as I laid in bed I pondered those damned plugs.
Next guys problem now.........π€·
I hope you bought a lotto...
Update.
By the time I got my wheels and tires last fall it was too late in the year to bother with them.
Finally got the 555r2's in 305/35/20 mounted and balanced on 20x11's, and installed them last week.
Night and day difference.
Problem solved. πͺ
I can mash the pedal from a dead stop and it...
At 71, my knees have been hurting so bad lately, that checking my tire pressure has become a challenge.
You prepped and applied all these letters with the tires on the car!!!!!!?
You're my new hero, and you must have titanium knees...πͺ
Kudos. They look great, as does the rest of the car.
Fuck...
