Wow..surprising behavior and agree, not very professional. I inquired about the Vorshlag camber plates, a sales rep answered all my questions via email exchange and within a few hours the order was shipped out. I will say the Vorshlag camber plates are very popular on BMW platforms as they had...
In spite of some wishfully ignoring the very informative MT graphic and just saying "the ZL 1 won by .35 secs" or whatever it was, you can see from the track data sheet exactly where the GT530R is superior..it makes up for the large power difference in turns 2-6 through both turning and braking...
Boils down to a few trying to get a rise out of people and enjoying it in some twisted perverse manner to see how long they can keep the arguments/debate going (every forum has these), or just complete stupidity and lack of any credibility/material automotive knowledge.
Time for the real...

We will see over time. At least in this test, a different issue: Brakes cooked on 1 LE after 5 laps on the more track oriented car, which is inexcusable for a modern "track ready" car...
Disappointing and proof positive that the "short cut" engineering techniques are seen by the emphasis of adding more power via a blower with less regard to how all the parts interact to produce the perfect vehicle. The Motorsport division of BMW for years argued that using forced induction was...
IMO, Ford nailed it with the Mustang and got it even more right with the GT350. Looks wise, just has enough of the homage of the original Mustang but with a modern finish that is reminiscent of Aston Martin (someone mentioned the Ford Fusion, which has some obviously similar elements and is...
Would also report both engine incidents to the NHTSA. If a systemic problem, Ford will hopefully figure out that remediating the problem on its own volition is likely to be less costly/brand damaging than being forced to conduct a recall after regulatory action or lawsuits...
Having seen the video finally that it is free, validates much of what others/I have said before:
1) Camaro in the straights kills it (8-10 mph faster), and it should given has ~6:1 weight to power ratio vs Shelby ~7:1 and 125 bhp advantage.
2) On track, Camaro noticeably inferior in turns (2-3...
Doesn't work.....completely hides the beautiful lines of the car. Also the number position totally takes away from the fender flare/vent, which is a defining characteristic of the GT350.
Congrats! Agree with you on the steering feel, but once you load the tires up and toss it around, there is really good feedback. Unfortunately can only be seen on twisty roads and on the track.
To arrive at the most apples-to-apples comparison of N-ring lap times, it would be the Sport Auto test (which is still imperfect, but at least the cars are not modified and driven by the same person). GM (and many other manufacturers) have a long history of skewing lap times in their favor...
Somehow I don't think this will be the last comparo win with the GT350/R. If you don't like comparo win outcomes, get used to it; I predict many more for the GT350/R against both faster and slower cars.
In CA, many stations have overused nozzles that aren't maintained/replaced. It's bad enough with normal gas caps, but worse with the capless filler, about 70% of the time I need to hold the nozzle and even when I remove the nozzle, a lot more drops of gas seems to hit the fuel door/gas cap area.
