Parts cleaner won't harm the brakes or components but it likely won't help much. The key is removing the pad deposits on the rotors, which in most cases, is the core issue.
1) do same procedure as bedding in new pads with the existing stock pads.
2) run carbon racing pads for a couple of days while doing daily driving. This will help remove pad deposits. Swap back to stock pads.
3) you can have a shop CAREFULLY "sand" rotor surface..can't be do much though or...
Should go with the car. Even if it didn't, sending it to the owner would be good citizenry. Is making a couple hundred bucks really worth it in the end vs making someone pretty stoked? Imagine the situation were reversed, what would you prefer?
The ADM doesn't really move, it's just illusory. In most cases, the salespeople have to get approval from the owner of the dealership and they all know what the market will pay for it. Had one salesperson tell me $13k ADM, only for the salesperson to talk to the dealership owner or GM only to...
Do the Vorshlags change the ride height (make it higher) or reduce front suspension travel? Despite what Vorshlag advertises, they have been known to alter both of these characteristics in other car applications due to the size of the bearing.
Despite the R rarity, it is a bargain for what you get compared to other cars, so wouldn't feel so bad about inevitable wear and tear issues or God forbid something happens at the track. Fixing a Porsche or Ferrari is a much more expensive proposition. As far as the wheels, the reason I like...
With other high revving normally aspirated engines such as those in the F 458, GT3, BMW M3/M5, oil separators/catch cans rarely used and many of these engines (in particular Porsche and BMW) can last for 120-150k+ hard-driven/tracked miles with little/no degradation in power. Moreover, the...
Do the Vorshlag or Maximum Motorsports camber plates increase the front ride height? I've seen other applications on the Vorshlag in particular where they claim there is no ride height change, but there is a small increase due to the size of the bearing. Incidentally in some cases, that also...
Have seen conflicting posts on the finish of the stock stripe material. Are both the large stripe and small edge stripe (e.g. black with red outer stripe) both matte or is the large stripe matte and the small edge one gloss? Looking at some aftermarket options and wanted to retain as much of...

Pad deposits most likely, and the dealer will probably give you some BS argument that the rotors may be "warped" which actually doesn't really happen with this quality rotor. You can either try a bedding in brake pad procedure as you would do with new pads or swap out the brakes with a ceramic...
Wow, was thinking of doing red mirror caps as well and was wondering how it would look and it looks fantastic! Was this ordered from Ford pre-painted? thx in advance.
Thanks, found them. I initially couldn't find the parts due to lack of part diagrams for these with properly labeled part numbers. Looks like around $300 and $1000 for the 350 and 350R splitters respectively, before shipping.
The Motorcraft oil looks to be well-spec'd for a high-revving engine. High Viscosity index, good 100degree viscocity, flash point, all consistent with other high-revving oil applications. What other oil alternatives are better and why...
Another way of thinking about what "makes sense" from an ADM perspective is buying a track pack GT350 + buying CF wheels from carbon revolution + aero splitter and wing, + stiffer springs and not even including Magnaride tuning, you are pushing $80k.
