Post intercooler, that's the air temp going into the cylinders, what are you reading, I normally float around 25-40 above ambient temp depending on how heat soaked the car is as how slow I'm driving
I didn't pop the check valve out when putting my breather on either looking at the filters I'm thinking about doing it now the passenger side filter has no oil tint to it at all I can tell oil has been coming out of the driver side though
I had a roush 670, the roush tune leaves a lot on the table but is easily upgraded, I left the car at the 670 for 500 miles then upgraded with the vmp 767 package
I installed Texas speed headers a couple weeks ago and have been chasing false knock ever since, I've tried 3 different tunes, two new tunes from vmp and the old tune that didn't have any knock last season, I moved the motor over slightly to the driver side to make sure there was plenty of...
What's the chemical make up of it? whithout raising octane its hard to believe it would prevent knock unless it's sold as a cleaner that's supposed to clean carbon on a dirty motor but running premium gas sort of does the same thing with all the deturgents added to them now
ive got a tune revision since header install, is this something they would have updated vmp is doing the tuning on it, ive also driven around 200 miles on it since install
Car is a roush blower set up, I installed headers and now it's not ideling great not horrible but I can hear an occasional miss and it seems like the idle fluctuates some when it's warm, I noticed at idle and slow rev the stft's are 1.02-1.15 I've checked for vacuum leaks but can't seem to find...
Not sure if it was you but I recall someone asking about the injectors facing out and not fitting due to hitting the head so I just looked at mine they are out on a 45* angle so they don't hit, someone mentioned putting the cups on the bottom but I'm pretty sure that messes up the spray pattern...
If you have a roush don't remove the blower to replace the injectors, I just took off the intake and elbow with throttlebody attached it gives enough clearance to remove the rails, have rags handy for the fuel that's left in them, I just pulled the injectors and replaced them with the rails...
So if I have a custom tune and the tuner left the options open for me to change tire size, I can see the revs per mile in the options and it let me flash that in, that does or does not work?
I was just curious because I just changed to a 28" tire so I went to adjust the revolutions per mile in the tune like I used to with my 14 gt, and it was the same deal in the sct x4 let me pick the size and flashed it in, I never did check the speedo to gps to verify it was right though
