Thanks and I have been looking, the hard problem is finding one that is for a GT Premium, everything I am seeing is the GT package which has 4 threads compared to the one on the Premium.

Thanks for the advice and yeah yours looks really good, I think the issue is trying to cover the vinyl compared to just plastic. I am going to give it a shot, whats the worst that can happen, I mess it up more and just replace the panel anyway. 🙃

Help!! So upset with myself right now!! I was getting out of the Roush today and the clip on my pocket knife grabbed the door panel and created a small tear. Did you just cut off the ring, it appears to be glued to the boot? I just didnt want to try to strong arm it and rip the boot.

Did you ever determine the best way to remove the plastic ring off the boot? I have a manual boot that I want to do the same thing just trying to find ideas of what worked best and then how did they connect to shaft of shifter?

Ok yeah that makes sense, maybe I will try that and see if I can make it work, just didn't want to destroy the factory auto boot and bezel in case I wanted to put it back stock.

So you just removed the plastic ring on the bottom and zip tied it to the shaft? It doesn't show?
