I'm wondering if the nt05 would be better than the pirellis. I never understood the hate for them so I tried the invos thinking there was this secret better class of summer tire. But, supporting the Pirelli sucks crowd, I had 225 BFG drag radials on my past fwd 500hp turbo car which hooked better

That's a bit of a bummer. The 295 is slightly wider than the look I wanted on the new rims, I was hoping for at least the same grip as the 275 pirellis despite being a higher wear rating. I got the invos for $225 each so it was hard to pass on them.
