  1. Rotor heat sinks

Interesting. Sounds like a moot point and a mess since there's already significant heat transfer
  2. Rotor heat sinks

Hi all, I've never tracked a car but I had a thought in relation to brake cooling. Computers use a thin film of heat transfer paste on the CPU to the CPU cooler. Could one use a similar heat transfer paste on the wheel to rotor mating surface to possibly draw some heat from the rotor to the...
  3. NT555G2 or Invo's?

295/35/20 Invos here. FBO pretty much N/A revving to 8k. Won't buy them again, and only did because I got a great deal. Invos will not hold first from a dig. Aggressive shifts will spin 2nd hard, and spin slightly into 3rd with 3.73s. They hold 2nd gear, though
  4. Any dealers in here? 2018 Expedition?

If not, then read this thread again tomorrow
  5. Oil change before storage or in the spring?

In my case, I need to start the car and move it a few times throughout the winter in and out of my garage. I chose to leave the "used" oil (5k Pennzoil ultra plat 0-20) in the car because I didn't want to mistreat new oil with condensation and brief start-ups to just move the car. No sense...
  6. If you wrecked and totalled your Mustang, what would you replace it with?

2015 GT PP ruby red met a tree. Replaced 6 months later with a 2016 GT PP in magnetic without hesitation. Love these cars
  7. Corsa Extreme Cat-Back Feedback Needed

I bought touring mufflers to go with the cords double X pipe I already had, which creates the sport cat back
  8. Corsa Extreme Cat-Back Feedback Needed

I have catless headers with a corsa sport. At first it was obnoxiously loud, the noise in the cabin vibrated your skull type of loud. I welded in FOUR additional resonators and now it's tame enough to daily drive at a reasonable volume and roars when you step on it. Avoid the extremes if you...
  9. engine whine after oil pump gear and crank gear installation. What is the cause?

After installing my boundary OPG and mmr sprocket, I have a whine which sounds incredibly similar to a centrifugal whine, just very quiet. It doesn't always whine but I hear it almost every time I drive the car. I did the work myself and I'm confident there's nothing wrong. I assume it's due to...
  10. Installing ARH headers

Take everything off to give you more room. Battery and battery frame piece, strut bar and k brace, etc It's tight enough, don't try to cut corners or save time. Just take everything off for the extra space it may provide
  11. Official RTR Tech 7 Install Thread!

I've got charcoal 20" on a magnetic. Stock lugs worked fine. Only problem I had was my impact socket was too fat to fit without scuffing the wheel
  12. ****FREE Velgen Mustang6G Appreciation*****

Should just go back to picking a name out of a hat as originally planned

  14. ****FREE Velgen Mustang6G Appreciation*****

So what's up with this whole thing?
  15. New Intake Cam set in development

Really quite a bummer that a proper A/B test wasn't performed here...
  16. 295 invos vs 275 pirellis... not what i hoped?

Up to over 300 miles now. 1st is useless at WOT. I want a tire that will hold a hard shift into second on the street! These are like gliding on butter if I hit 2nd hard. very quiet while spinning like the pzeros were. Being n/a there shouldn't be any need to modulate throttle in 2nd, or so I...
  17. 295 invos vs 275 pirellis... not what i hoped?

Full bolt on , just made 506rwhp on a generous dyno which was 80hp over my stock baseline
  18. 295 invos vs 275 pirellis... not what i hoped?

For example- today was 72 degrees with a little sun. 150 miles on the invos now if not more. 1st gear they still don't hook at all. A hard shift to 2nd results in a complete greasy spin, more so than the lirellis. Still spinning into 3rd on banging shifts Running them at 30psi cold currently...
  19. GT350 intake and PMAS dyno run A/C question

Lund told me last week that the GT350 TB was too much of an issue due to electronics. They recommended the ford perf 90mm unit if a larger TB is desired. Also stated to avoid the BBK unit
