  2. bushing Q after noticing a difference between 2015 and 2016

Front 2 were the 4-void bushings, right rear was a 2-void bushing, and the drivers rear was a solid rubber bushing
  3. Lund Racing Flex Fuel Tunes now available!!!

Anyone else have a flex tune with headers and have an issue with throttle tip in? Lund has sent a few revisions but it's still not perfect. The issue I'm referencing is like a stumble when going from zero or light throttle to heavier throttle. Such as coasting in gear and then getting on the gas...
  4. Best deal on Koni yellows

Lmr promo code ORDEREDIT got them down to like 660
  5. best place to get a helmet + 1st time out advice?

If peak torque is around 4000 would I benefit from shifting out of 4th a little lower, say 6500, to have more time in 5th where I'm making torque? I'm guessing the gearing will hurt more than the benefit of more torque at high speed
  6. best place to get a helmet + 1st time out advice?

I think I'll hit up Lund for a track day tune set at 7300ish. Still a little nervous tho without OPG or crank sprocket yet Thanks for the input guys. Found a decent helmet at speedway, solo performance had them on backorder unfortunately
  7. bushing Q after noticing a difference between 2015 and 2016

P.S. I'm hoping your poly diff bushings and delrin cradle bushings take care of 90% of the hop. Vertical links and control arm bushings next if that doesn't help
  8. bushing Q after noticing a difference between 2015 and 2016

Interesting. I'll get some pics up in the next day or two with tags as to which location they were in. Build date is April 2016
  9. bushing Q after noticing a difference between 2015 and 2016

So I've owned a 2015 and 2016 GT and noticed today on my 2016 that the differential bushings are different. I cut them out to install some BMR goodies and noticed the LR is solid, 2 fronts have only two openings and the RR is pretty airy like you see in wheelhop videos. Did the 2015's have...
  10. Any advantages using 0w20 weight oil in the 5.0?

Yes, you're right. oil will have different viscosities at different temps. A 0-20 will be thinner than a 5-20 at any given temp other than fully warmed. A thinner oil may not allow the system to reach its extremes if the required pressure isn't able to be met. I'm not saying that's the case on...
  11. Any advantages using 0w20 weight oil in the 5.0?

Been on BITOG for years and in theory that would be better. To my understanding of it on modern engines (or at least those with oil pressure-controlled variable cam/valve control), oil weight outside of manufacturer spec can cause undesired operation of such systems. FWIW I use Pennzoil ultra...
  12. best place to get a helmet + 1st time out advice?

Thanks for the tips. I can bang em hard on the street and haven't missed a shift on this car yet with 4k miles on the clock. Stock pirellis leave marks on the way into 3rd :headbang: Ordered dss half shafts today as long as I have to drop the subframe for installing bushings. Crazy deals from...
  13. PMAS Intake Systems from UPR Products. TUNE AND NO TUNE INTAKES

Dude your shock towers are not symmetrical in that pic. Has your car had frame work? Might want to go back to that shop unless it's the pic that's making everything look wonky
  14. best place to get a helmet + 1st time out advice?

Shit I've been worried about the slicks and wandering around. How do you best approach the feeling? Do you just hold straight or is there minor wheel corrections? I'll be on stock front PP pirellis Are there any issues with slicks and running -1.5 degrees camber?
  15. best place to get a helmet + 1st time out advice?

I'm going on the 16th so there's time. I could only find some on summit that were $250+ Would this one work? http://www.ebay.com/itm/172226999014
  16. best place to get a helmet + 1st time out advice?

Where do you guys find yours? Going to a test day for my first time and don't want to spend over $100-150 on a sa2010 or as2015 helmet. On another note, what do you think my car is capable of? I'm hoping to be in the 11's for my first time out 2016 gt PP (3.73s) E85 tune with 7k limiter...
  17. Lund Flex Fuel E85/JLT Before and After Dyno *Pic Heavy*

I have catless headers with full 3" exhaust and Lund e85 tune. From stock to these mods, I picked up 40 peak hp and 45 +- 5 ft lbs from 3000rpm to 5500. I would think headers on top of his setup are good for about 15hp and 15 ft lbs but that's just my guess
  18. BMR springs/ stock struts

I have the minimal drop springs, and even though their rates are near stock PP rates, they exaggerate the stock struts weaknesses. What was slightly under-damped is now annoying enough that I'm buying konis next week.
  19. Corsa Exhaust with Headers

Cats I feel would make up for the 4 small resonators I added
  20. Corsa Exhaust with Headers

I based my corsa sport and catless headers purchase based off the video above. First, let me say the video sounds great. BUT in person it is unbearably loud. Cold starts are embarrassing, mild driving is embarrassing, getting on the pedal... ridiculous. Cold starts would hit 117db on my SPL...
