Ford swapped mine and used a BG full synthetic fluid ( least they claim to have ) so it was worth it. I never believed the while " life time fluid" thing all manufactures push
I let Ford Change mine in my 2020 around 60K. They said they get all the old fluid out vs just draining the pan. Costa round $300 but was worth it to me since I bought my car used.
Also don’t rule out Walmart oil, it’s a good quality and has great specs and is around $15 a gallon.
Before you say “ Walmart oil” they don’t make it but made my a large oil company to meet certain specs
Personally I think Ultra Platinum is one of the best oils out there and you can order it online from amazon and Walmart. I also Like Amsoil but its too expensive for me.
My 69 Mustang probably kept me from drinking a lot..First needed that money for parts to go faster and second I had enough sense not to drive it when drinking.
If we were drinking beer in a parking lot 90% of the time the cop said " pour it out and go home"
We use to even think your body uses a beer an hour and we can drink a six pack and drive after 2 hours. Can't say I am proud of that
Our generation had the best music but we did some stupid things.
Like no bike helmets for kida no seat belts and hey you can drive if your DUI test is below .12.
Years ago I used jiffy lube until they over tightened my dad’s oil filter and almost blew his engine. Luckily his Buick had a low oil light.
Then they left a rag on my cat converter and almost burned my car.
That’s the point to fill it that some don’t agree with. Yea it’s minor but why not.
I have never really oiled the seal since it is always covered in old oil :)
I do still make sure the old gasket came off
The Cobb tune for the ecoboost is actually nice. I have ran all 4 and actually like the stage 2 91 over the stage 2 93.
But I do agree a custom tune is better just a little expensive for my budget
FYI if you ever use the fix a flat tell the tire store. If you don't you may wonder why there is a guy with a tire iron chasing you.
It leaves a mess inside the tire and I have seen guy get it dumped all over them
If you are debating an intake tube look at this one..I don't work there I just bought one and like it..Its smooth and should flow better then the stock one but also keeps the intake air a little cooler since its rubber and won't absorb as much heat...
With those Mods you should run the stage 2 tune. I just have a intercooler and a eurocompulsion intake tube and I run the stage 2. I actually like the 91 tune over the 93. Seems to drive better.
Its a decent jump over the stage 1 performance wise and as long as you don't drive it like you want...
