I bought a 2013 Accord new and it did something similar which surprised me. But like others have said get the batter tested to be sure, most autoparts store will do it for free, You can also buy a battery tester off amazon for around $25, bought one and my wife's SUV said " replace battery"...

Also Lake was a oil specialist at Joe Gibbs racing for years so isn't a random guy making youtube Video's. He is showing you the results using oil samples. If you don't want to take 30 seconds and prefill a filter don't do it but I have done it for years.

Everybody can do as they please. But my argument is why not prefill it if possible?

Following and Curious. Seems to me if I was a Ford tech to determine if it's a Mechanical or software issue I would want to flash it back to stock. Guess the question is what does that do to your tune?

Mine isn't a GT so not sure. But can you reflash the tune and cause the transmission to relearn everything? After Ford Changed my fluid it was shifting strange but reloading the cobb tune fixed it.

I agree, I have a covercraft that's custom made and it helped a ton..In fact when I take it down it's almost too hot to touch on the front side.
