For reference, I have a 22’ GT with Roush P2 kit and FI Interchiller Stage 2 kit and my blower inlet lines have ice built up on them in the warmest weather…
@beefcake can definitely give some sound advice here. In fact, I believe he sells rebuild kits for the 6r80.
@beefcake will give you an idea of cost either way...if you chose to ship it off to someone for rebuild or buy rebuild kit yourself...
I am currently running the AVID device. My whip is a 22' GT making a lil over 800rwhp. Lots of upgrades. Basically custom car.
Currently, we are running 93 octane tune and car is in storage. We also have e85 tune for warmer months/spirited driving.
AVID device performs flawlessly. Be...
I believe you are thinking about the VMP Odin Kit. It appears to have 2 of the exact same intercoolers as the Roush 2650 for 3rd Gen Coyote.
Obviously, the designs are completely different with the Odin Intercoolers on the sides, which, is a superior design overall.
I agree with the sentiments here that the pricing you posted is ridiculous. Let me suggest you go ahead and over-build your whip and do something like a GT 500 pump or a Pierburg CWA 400. You will pay more up front, but those pumps are better designs than the OEM pumps which come on these cars.
I’m completely shocked your whip didn’t blow up as soon as you started down the line at the track…these Roush kits heat soak so much…what a terrible kit…:sunglasses:
I just wanted to encourage that the phrase "the wrong kit" is purely subjective. The Roush 2650 for 3rd Gen Coyote is certainly the underdog and the kit everyone seems to enjoy bashing.
However, as this thread has demonstrated time and again, this kit performs very well with just a few...
Member @Autopart101 did a custom setup which employed usage of custom cai and 103 mm tb
You will have to also get a cowl induction hood for tb clearance
Man, there just seems to be quite a bit of complaints about those other systems, it seems.
If I thought there was a system which was cheaper and just as good as Fore, I would've went that route.
I know for lower boost, you can get by with stock fuel system with a boost a pump and injectors...
Fore Innovations Level 2 Return Style Fuel System
You may also need new injectors = FIC 1000
If you go E85, then you will unleash the monster in that car...lol
