Its a dyno lol. They can just adjust a few parameters and the dyno "autocorrects" in whatever direction they want it to.
Shade tree tuners are famous for this shit. 80+ whp tune on 93 fuel! Then they use their dyno to prove it lol. Look at their settings and its -3000 DA because they are not...
Hey man if you like the car and your daughter is happy then all is well.
It has some interesting Shelby look a like mods and looks neat. I am sure she will love it.
You may have some problems down the line due to the repairs.. you may not. NONE of us here will be able to help you with that...
Its simple. Get some Viking Crusaders and adjust the compression and rebound until you find the right settings, get some drag springs and then I would pair those with the Steeda Stop the Hop Ultimate Street kit.
Also you could look into a progressive boost controller and delay the boost until...
The sleeves are back ordered at least a month as of right now and TKM among others could not give me a ETA on when they would be able to produce a sleeved block.
RPG warranties the engine for 1 year at 1200hp. So should anything go wrong in that time frame that is on them. Plus that gives me...
Well no matter how thick something is I went with the RPG stage 2 shortblock. Going to get it dialed in at the 1200 HP mark and switch to a TH400.
After that I plan on sleeving the block and changing the rods out for the I beams to take it beyond 1200 safely.
But first I want to get it...
So I took the dummy route and did not upgrade my oil pump gears and sprocket. Needless to say do this upgrade if you are doing any kind of decent modding.
Now I am in the market for a new short block. Just reaching out on here to see if anyone has any recommendations.
Current setup is a TT...
Yea they seem to be very popular and have quality products so I am going to give it a try.
Need to figure out if I need to rebuild my engine or not first though haha. Made a pass the other night and got to pit lane and it just cut off. Acted like the battery was dead. Would start with a jump...
I think I will buy the Steeda Stop the Hop Ultimate kit. Seems to have everything I need to button this thing up. Also it's surprisingly affordable, but most things on this platform are.
All of the equipment is there. Viking Crusader shocks/BMR drag springs and chassis lockout/MT Street Rs etc.
Just need to get the suspension dialed in.
Nice! Yea I think it is a good deal. I had already been talking to him a bit but just shot him my cell number and asked him where I should pick it up at. Just waiting to hear back.
I have a TT 18 model GT prem but its getting less and less streetable as I make it more dangerous on the track...
Your car will drive around town just fine at any power level. I drive my 1000+ HP TT Mustang to the grocery store or work occasionally.
If you are not hammering into the gas they drive normally. At 1-4k RPMs you will probably hardly notice anything.
Car is currently down. I think I busted the oil pump gears but waiting to finish tearing it down.
I am struggling to get it to hook around the 1000 HP range. Running a 2 step/transbrake taking off at around 3100 RPMS @ 3.5 PSI of boost. Shifts into second and either breaks completely loose...
