For sure. But 10 HP on a 3800 pound car is not going to move your times by much if anything. I mean there are wayyyy bigger fish to try if you are trying to drag race a stock GT.

For road course you are going to need to focus more on heat issues from the rear diff, and motor on these stock GTs.
This is where I am doing some exploring on my 22.
Honestly this is just my opinion but I would pick 1 route for the car and go with it. You can make a track setup and it's going to easily beat a stock GT. But it's not going to run with even a cheap Whipple drag setup. It's simply 2 wayyyy different things.

You don't need a big burnout at all. It's not going to help you. Your suspension and tires are not going to hold up for what you need.
That wheel hop from first to 2nd is also extremely hard on your car. You should avoid it at all costs.
Honestly I would not stress about drag racing a stock...
This is a big one for hard tire stock cars. If you roll through that waterbox you are going to fuck yourself. It will sling water all in your wheel well which will drip back down onto your tires during staging.
Learned that the hard way before I put my Alfa on a good wheel setup.
Eh I just don't see the point on beating up on a stock car like that. DA is going to impact any car drag racing I just meant any gains you pick up in a stock NA car are going to be marginal compared to a forced air induction car.

Throw some oil pump gears on that thing and a twin turbobkit with fuel system and you will have all of the power you can handle.
You will be breaking axles and transmissions before the motor.
Ran my stock gen 3 at a little over 1000 rwhp for a year before the oil pump gears gave out on me.
This is numerous drag races from a dig in Alabama heat. Broke 1200 hp rear axles.
The stock engines are beyond amazing for a stock affordable car.

I mean generally speaking operating the car with any other gauge just pegged out like is a bad thing.
I am well aware that it does normalize as the oil warms up and thins out. But I did not realize they had it setup so that the Guage was just pegged to the far right until the oil essentially...
So today I got in my new 22 GT PP to go to work.
I noticed that on a cold start my oil pressure was pretty much topped out at 90 to 100 psi. Let it sit for a few mins to try and let the oil warm up.
Even going down the road for a while it still was extremely high. Anything above 1.2k RPMS...
Never did answer the question on cost. This is a great setup and all but what is the deal not saying how much it is? Is it that expensive its just not worth it and you do not want to say?
It would help some of us out that are also running heavy boosted applications to know if the price is worth...
