Didn’t say I was concerned. Just an observation. I also have magnetic and my gas cap never looked like that in any pictures.

There is no way that that gas cap matches the body color. If it were the lighting, the whole thing wouldn’t look black. It looks like that in two pictures. If it is supposed to be body color, then it may have been painted and it doesn’t match up very well and the lighting makes that show.

My current tweeters (Powerbass) actually came with those, but they don't fit in stock location. I guess I'll try altering the stock trim to make them fit.

It's not that filler/sanding/painting would be difficult. I just don't think the end result would look very good. I have no experience at all with 3D modeling. A new a-pillar trim is $50. I might try messing with relocating the tweeter in the trim. I think if done right that could look good.

I like that sail panel idea, but our sail panel looks way too small to house a tweeter. If you somehow manage to fabricate one that works, please post it. I may just look into the price of the actual a pillar trim. If not two cost prohibitive maybe I’ll buy one and experiment.

I removed and used the factory tweeter capacitor with the tweeters in the Powerbass L2-6C component set. Seems to work well, as without it was too harsh.

I swapped the stock sub with that exact RF sub - much better and easy to swap.

How about the welding - what is needed for that? Is it difficult?

Never used a chop saw. Is it fairly straight forward like a table saw for wood? Can you rent one?

I think I'll try that with an exacto knife. If that doesn't work I'll order the zombie stickers or make my own. Lord knows I have plenty of time right now.
