I’m running a 305/45/17 et street R. As for what rpm I crossed the line, I don’t remember. I wasn’t really on 7th gear that long cause I do remember letting off as soon I crossed the line. My rev limiter is set at 8k

I went to the track last night and was hitting 7th gear in my 10r80, why do I hear it’s bad to be going into 7th gear? My set up is a vortech with 3.3 and fuel system, stock trans on 3.15 gear. Thanks for the info!
