830rwhp and it's a "pig" lol. Sure, compared to vette's it's heavy, but that's still an insanely fast street car. For most people, they would rarely be able to put all that power to use on the street.
A lot of people bash XXR wheels, but I have to say I think it looks really cool fordguy, and I like how it's unique. Love the deep dish look, although I would have preferred if the lip were polished aluminum.
Is your car stock height, or is it lowered?
Thanks, brother! And yes, I drive the car year round, its my DD...I have 3 sets of wheels/tires. We had a bad winter last year and I got through it on these 19X9.5 RTR's and 275/40 Conti DWS
A little bit of wheel gap doesn't look bad at all, and IMO looks much better than truck-like tire sidewall to fill the gap. (mostly relative to the front.) I think 285/35/19 has the perfect amount of sidewall in terms of looks. I don't like too thick and I hate rubber band tires, and to my eyes...
Cool deal. Sounds like LT's, H-pipe & maybe aftermarket tips are the way to guy for those who don't want to scare the sh*t out of everyone and set off alarms, without any power penalty.
Well if I decide to go the NA route, I thought the main power increase came from the LT's, so they would be a given.
Regarding your touring exhaust, that's exactly what I thought from all the video's I've seen, even the "mild" exhaust's are still really loud.
Thanks & yeah I am familiar...
Hey guys, just wondering what kind of power & track numbers can be had if you keep the stock catback, but do LT's, H-pipe, CAI & tune.
Looks like guys are getting 430-440rwhp with that plus a catback, but I don't like it loud 95% of the time I am driving, so would keep the stock catback same...
I have 275/40 Conti DWS on RTR rims, lowered with an Eibach prokit and the sidewall looks too big IMO, particularly in the front. I regretted not getting 285/35's which would look much better with the lower profile and wider patch.
My 2012 GT Premium (saddle leather) is far from "awful" and I've honestly had many compliments on it, including one guy who saw it as a gas station when my door was open and said wow that's the nicest interior I've ever seen in a mustang.
The new mustang definitely has an even nicer interior...
