I felt this deserved it's own post as people have brought it up on other posts not directly related. I will be picking up my base GT PP with Recaro's in a few weeks and have been wondering.... Since we don't have the toggle switches with different drive and steering modes, what will a base GT...

Yes and don't worry, I am all about the GT PP as I will be picking mine up in the next couple weeks. I'm just talking stock for stock.

Oh I completely agree that the interior of the Camaro is no where near the new Mustang. I'm only referring to lap times....performance. For example, if the lap time of the 1LE at VIR is 3:00, I want to see the PP right around that. Prediction that I would be comfortable with... 1LE VIR lap...

What I am hoping to see is that it is at the very least about dead on tie with the 1LE. I am being realistic here. Yes, of course we all know the Mustang as at a tire disadvantage which is why I feel under the circumstances a tie would be really impressive. R&T performance car of the year...

Actually I didn't do much searching, I pretty much just got lucky. There were two more base GT with PP, one was black without Recaro's and the other was CO with Recaro's in other dealer ships in the LA and Orange County areas.

Honestly the only things I would want from premium are... -Rear diffuser - Soft touch upper door panels and leather stitched dash panel (yeah I know an extra $400ish, but a no brainer if you are already optioning premium)

Yeah, that is the very first thing that I will do is either something like that or at a minimum mask it off and hit it with plasti-dip. It won't be as obvious since I will have Magnetic but still.

Just the other day I located exactly what I want at a dealer a couple hours away. It was part of their dealer order. Base GT, with PP and Recaro's in Magnetic. My name is now attached to it. BOOM!

You have exactly what I want. The disconcerting thing is I just searched on the inventory locator in all of SoCal and I don't see any base GTs, let alone with PP. I remember a few weeks ago seeing base GT's with PP in my area now no. I think something is wrong with it. I am hoping I can find...

Hope the photo they used is just a stock photo and not the actual car they are testing. Would HOPE it would be a PP GT, especially in the company it is up against. Come on Ford, put your best performance foot forward. With that said I am hoping all of the media are using the PP for both GT and EB.
