The '19 and '20 Bullitt electronics package is what added navigation. It was not standard, at least in North America-US specs. I have a no-option 2019. The base Sync 3 stereo does not include navigation.
"Still counting" - I believe we will get the country breakouts. My contact is still waiting on some data from the plant to verify what they have derived from the raw data.
That is correct - should not need to be ordered. Someone pointed out the 3.55 Torsen is standard for the Mach 1's auto. It definitely says that in the order guide.
Thanks for that. I didn't look closely enough at the order guide to see the Torsen 3.55 was specified. I likely confused it because of the optional 3.55 gear from previous years. Knock $795 off my previous totals :)
Someone who shared the gas guzzler price with me has it at $1000, not $600.
My first want was an auto base with M1 appearance package. This is how it adds up as I understand the ordering guide.
base (600A) - $51,720
automatic (44U) - $1595
3.55 axle ratio, Torsen (455) - $795

BULLITT BOOK CLUB ROLLS ON! (Mustang Engineers Discussion on Wed, 9-9-2020, at 8pm US Eastern time)
I've opened up 8 more spots for tomorrow's discussion with Team Mustang engineers who worked on the 2001, 2008-09, and 2019-20 Bullitts. Talk with Nick Terzes, Shawn Carney, and Tom Barnes about...
One of the things that the engineers who interviewed for my book Mustang Bullitt - Generations told me was that the resonator was packed a bit differently for the Bullitt. Removing it would result in a harsher tone, using the chief engineer's words. He also mentioned that the Mustang engineers...
As of today, I understand that the Ford Performance folks who have this information continue to carefully validate it at this time. The number I heard was "over 8000 worldwide", which we know from seeing various people post. I hope that we would know how many went to what countries, but that is...
Thanks for sharing these pictures! Those are epic photos of an epic event in the life of the 559 movie car. Many of us who were around for the first iteration believe that part of the success of the model was grounded in the owner reaction. Ford took a chance back in the early 2000s to produce...
