I broke down and ordered one even though it's resin and doesn't have opening parts. I've been holding out for a metal version but nothing so far.

I disagree (in 10 years). I believe there are some who find value on obscure combinations when looking at these cars later down the road.

I like your combination. I think it will look sharp. I also think having cloth seats will be rare.

Yep :) But I reserve the right to change my mind. I need to go drive a 10-sp auto in a '20 GT and make sure I will enjoy the paddle flipping. I am set on the appearance package (FJG and orange stuff). This car will NOT replace any of my Mustang Bullitts! I think it will be a hoot on a drag...

They are definitely orange calipers, not orange covers over them :)

I think that's been a consistent statement about Fighter Jet Gray and the orange. What's not consistent was the mention of those having to be combined with the handling package car only. The one in Carlisle appears to be the same verification prototype that appeared in the media photos.

Hopefully that is not the final word on it. I am planning on a Mach 1 without the handling package but with the appearance package (Fighter Jet Gray and orange accented stripes and Brembos).

For what it's worth, I have heard differently from a Ford person that the Fighter Jet Gray does not come exclusively with the Handling Package. I believe it was still in discussion from what I understood. If Carl didn't mention it during Carlisle that it is decided, I still am banking on those...
