What did you need for connecting the seatbelt wiring?
  2. Installing New Seat - need to bolster knowledge from search

I think the bladder is only necessary for the passenger seat, but I'm not totally sure. I only plan on swapping the driver seat.

My 2019 has the convenience comfy seats with AC/Heating. As I've been tracking more, I've wanted an option that would hold me a bit more still and maybe give me a bit of headroom as I have to recline slightly with helmet on. I didn't want to go full race bucket because I do a lot of canyon...
  4. For a daily driver with plans to track it, GT350 or GT?

Gotcha didn't realize you were talking about specialized racing.
  5. For a daily driver with plans to track it, GT350 or GT?

6k? My costs so far have been more like 1-1.5k per day.
  6. Add me to the list…

Any details about where/how you're getting the engine are appreciated.
  7. For a daily driver with plans to track it, GT350 or GT?

Because once you go on track a few times (at least for me), I'm not interested in stoplight racing in stop and go traffic. Also, I can push hard at track and not worry I won't have a way to get to work.
  8. For a daily driver with plans to track it, GT350 or GT?

I think the c7 is much more comparable than the c8. I did 24-hour test drives on both the c7 and 350. I returned the c7 within 2 hours because it didn't make me laugh the same way.
  9. For a daily driver with plans to track it, GT350 or GT?

I also wouldn't daily a GT350. I bought mine for weekend use and bought a 3.5K electric leaf for commuting. Regarding pricing -> I agree it feels overpriced, but honestly, what would I rather have that feels somewhat analog and offers a raucous experience at all times. The only thing at the...
  10. Installed a new set of Pilot Sport 4S on GT350R - completely lost that "sharp" feeling. Car does not feel stable anymore

Just wanted to highlight quickly that Pilot Sport 4 (abbreviated PS4 or PS4s for plural) is a different tire than Pilot Sport 4 S (frequently abbreviated PS4S for singular or plural). I wonder if that is creating some confusion in this thread.... I've been incredibly happy with my PS4S, but...
  11. What did you do to your GT350 today?

Wow that's great usage out of the 3Rs!
  12. What did you do to your GT350 today?

This is your first day with new wheels and tires right? What did you think?

If you buy the tpms sync tool which is relatively affordable, you can program them to the right corner yourself. I also think there's a distinct difference in meaning between "correct" and great tires. There's so many versions of the cup 2, I'm not sure they have the exact one you're looking...

Sorry CONUS is common abbreviation for "Continental United States". You said you couldn't get good new tires and I was surprised because there are a ton of awesome tires readily available!

What do you mean not available here? Are you CONUS?

I will be trying SC3 next. Not fast, but consistent and good for learning from what I hear.

Just keep in mind there are many many versions of cup 2s. The super sticky 350R ones fall off hard, but the 2019-2020 350 ones will last longer than PS4S (which will destroy the outer shoulder, over heat, and start chunking out from what I have seen.)

Hey sounds like thats what is right for you then. The tire temps and wear don't lie 👍 I was primarily responding to the person that said 3 was a lot and was running 1.5.

If you go read the track mustang forums, every person with a lot of track time in these cars recommends ~3 deg if in a sticky street tire and more than 3 when you get to a really sticky tire. I went compromise and am in the 2.7, range.
  20. Obsolescence to Obsession – Tales of the Rented Mule (FPRS GT350 Track Attack #14)

I almost wish I hadn't bought 19" forged wheels. 18" takeoffs are intriguing.
