My 16 has a build date of Sept 26 2015. There's a Cleveland Engine Plant sticker on the front of the valve cover.
Also, the Cleveland casting plant made windor motors too. The valley on my last 351 block was stamped CCP. Not a whole lot of them, and they weren't any stronger than a window cast...
My car is a base, so no adaptive cruise. Auto in regular drive mode. As I said before, it happened once and I quit using the accel button for big jumps.
Just don't use the ACC button. With my auto it won't down shift, it just cranks the throttle open. I did it once and felt a little vibration, so I quit doing that. I was going from 60 mph up to 70 with 3.15 gears.
I would skip the Aluminator short block and use a reputable shop for the engine build. When they were introduced to the Cobra market they had alot of failures due to oil pump housings and cranks not having proper clearance. The general opinion was that they were built by the lowest bidder and...
Ethanol is added to gasoline because it burns cleaner and helps emmisions. Unless otherwise noted the maximum is 10%. Over 10% is generally considered flex fuel. Some people (idiots that think ethanol eats everything it touches) hate the ethanol mixed in. You may see a slight bump in mileage...
So my week old car has 2 chips on the bottom of the drivers door from the tires kicking up stones. Anyone tried using clear plasti dip like a clear bra. Thinking about laying some along the doors and behind the back tires and the lower front bumper. If anyone's tried it got any pictures? Thanks.
Does a 16 in wheel fit on a non PP ecoboost? I have a set of hoosiers in my garage that I never got to use.
Otherwise I'll probably just find a tire to put on my 19s. I used Nitto 555r's on my Cobra one set lasted about 3 years, although that was only about 2k miles. Friend of mine uses nt05s...
2.1 was the best it could do. Track wasn't holding very well, couldn't get more than 2 or 3 psi before it started spinning the tires at the line. They run street tire cars out of the groove to keep it in good shape for the fast cars.
Derek, I'm aware of the differences. I was referring to Adam, we just posted at the same time.
To clarify, my car is stock with the exception of the discharge tube being taken off. I would be spraying a stock car at 35-50 hp. The kit and nitrous would be free. When I mod the car next year, the...
