  1. MMR Oil Filter Relocation - Install Help

The 2018+ Gen3 Coyotes have variable oil pressure controlled by the ECU. It’s supposed to improve fuel economy. Yes, the ECU will post a code when that oil pressure control valve stops responding. I don’t know if the engine will enter limp home mode though. Cheers,
  2. Magneride and 401A MyMode question.

I stand corrected. I just went and tried to change steering in track mode and got a dialog box stating “steering feel selection not available”. So, only exhaust mode can be changed in all drive modes. Thanks,
  3. 18+ GT Performance Pack Update

The Bullit has the GT350 manifold. So, it doesn’t need the adapter to convert the 80mm diameter 2018 manifold to the 87mm “roval” throttle body. Cheers,
  4. Magneride and 401A MyMode question.

I look at it this way. The Magneride is tied to the drive mode. And, if you have an A10; so is the shift strategy. You can change the exhaust and steering in any mode. My “mymode” is max steering assist and quiet exhaust. I use it for cruising with the shifter in sport mode. Cheers,
  5. Performance Pack Spoiler

I’ve got no reason to argue with you. I posted the reasoning I used to define neutrality between no wing and the PP1 wing. But, CD isn’t a measure of downforce. Its simply a figure of merit. Less CD for a given amount of downforce is a more efficient wing/spoiler design. Cheers,
  6. Performance Pack Spoiler

The PP1 can be had with out the wing. So, the wing and no wing configurations produce the same rear down force. That’s what neutral means for the PP1. The PP2, GT350, and GT500 cars all have front splitters that create down force. So, all those cars need wings/spoilers that produce rear down...
  7. 2019 Comp cams stage 2 NSR installed!

Just slip three 5/16” bolt heads behind the damper and use a three arm puller. There are videos out there showing how to do this. I wasted $$ on a dedicated Coyote puller and the week after it arrives the vendor posts it’s incompatible with the narrow mouth of the Gen 3 Coyote damper...
  8. Performance Pack Spoiler

It’s cosmetic. Ford designed it to be neutral. If you look at the lower surface; you can see the voids Ford used to achieve that neutrality. Cheers,
  9. Gen 3 Coyote Engine Announcement for Holley NMRA Ford Nationals 2021

Dam. I just spent $$$$$ duplicating that parts kit for my car. Only now I’m not NMRA legal. Anyway the Gen 3 cars are gonna dominate. Unless I missed the part about BOP rules. Cheers Waiting for K-member
  10. magnaride dragracing

My best is 12.2 at almost 117 MPH. That run was with the rear sub frame locked out. Here is post with my time slip. https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/another-2018-gt-automag-pp-first-drag.104833/page-2#post-2297018 Cheers,
  11. magnaride dragracing

No. My 2018 GT A10 Mag PP hops through 1 & 2; in drag mode. Starting with shifter in S and clicking into D after shifting into second is the best way I’ve found to minimize wheel hop. The only proven solution is dedicated drag tires. Cheers,
  12. 2021 Mustang Refresh Spied!

It’s only “gimmicky” if you don’t have active exhaust. That extra pipe is what’s exposed when the valve opens. Cheers,
  13. 2019 Comp cams stage 2 NSR installed!

Maybe its the version of the NSR cams you’re using or how your CobraJet intake was ported? Take a look at HotRod’s Comp Cams 2018 CAM test results. The final engine Dyno chart shows the HP climbing past 8000 RPM. I couldn’t figure out how to link that particular image. So, skip to the end...
  14. 2019 Comp cams stage 2 NSR installed!

Thanks for sharing. Does Lund believe the car is being held back some how? My gut says there is a bottle neck somewhere. But, I got no idea what it could be. You are running my dream setup! Thanks,
  15. Please comment... Who has seen oil pump gear and crank sprocket failures?

Sorry for derailing this thread. I’ll start an installation thread later. Cheers,
  16. Please comment... Who has seen oil pump gear and crank sprocket failures?

Thanks. I’m definitely using this thing. Hopefully Ford put good gears in it.
  17. Please comment... Who has seen oil pump gear and crank sprocket failures?

Does anyone know if the 2020 GT500 oil pump gears are forged? I’m installing the Ford Performance GT500 oil pan kit on my track car and want to know if it’s worth using the GT500 oil pump that comes with it. Thanks,
  18. 2019 Comp cams stage 2 NSR installed!

What tools did you use to remove and install the damper? Thanks,
  19. 2018+ intake airbox

I wouldn’t do it. Don’t take my word for it. Measure the diameter of the new intake tube near the MAF sensor and compare it to the old intake tube diameter. I’m guessing they are different. That means the MAF transfer function in the old tune will need to be modified to match the new intake...
  20. Ford Performance thinks 2018+ GTs have forged crank gears?

I noticed this new forged crank gear does not fit 2018+ Mustang GTs https://performanceparts.ford.com/part/M-6306-M50A I wonder if that’s because the 2018+ GTs already have forged crank gears. Has anyone replaced a 2018+ crank gear and then tried to crack the stock gear? Thanks
