That's fair.
If we're talking stock you are not limited by the snorkel alone, but your grille's holes as the first thing that lets air in. So unless you do a grille delete the inlet airflow will be the same with a snorkel or not.
Again, good point on location. I live in Canada and daily it all...
I went with Roush because I wasn't planning on tuning for a while and I didn't want to bother with JLT's oiled filter. Roush is a dry filter and makes it 1 less car chore to take care of.
People talking about bends and airflow...you're min/maxing over such small advantages if any at all. It's...
Does the performance lip work on V6 WITHOUT PP bellypan? Basically, do I just buy the lip and slap it on or do I need to buy more stuff to actually install it?
Edit: I don't see the splitters on your website yet, are you guys still working on it?
Hey,
For those that did the GT grille swap, I'm wondering if the lower grille fits correctly. Specifically, I'm looking to get this part:

Well others saying that it's traceable is essentially what I'm going off of. I'm by no means an expert in this field so I'm trying to understand/learn about it.
Specifically regarding manual v6, what kind of quality of life changes should one expect by getting this tune? I have a Roush CAI, Solo Performance catback, 3.15 gears.
Also, I'm assuming this tune is traceable by the dealer even if reverted to stock, so do you guys just don't care about the...
Not sure about US, but a few dealers in Canada told me this:
- You can get 3.55 gears without 051A package
- 3.55 gears from factory are like $500
- 3.55 gears installed by the dealer is like $1000+
The reason you'll be paying more is simply due to labor. If you factory order they put...
I just got a Solo catback in mine. My stock catback was cut for Borla axle backs. Both the stock catback and axle backs fit in the car with rear seats down. The catback was touching my shoulder though.
OMG just concluded it's season opener this past Sunday (April 17th). We had a great turnout with 50+ Mustangs cruising to St. Catherines and a BBQ at TCM Graphix there.
Check out our instagram (https://www.instagram.com/ontario_mustang_group/) for a few snaps from the season opener.
The guy I bought it from only had the tower brace. I have no plans on getting a K brace, hell I had no plans on getting a tower brace in the first place.
Forgive my ignorance, but what kind of washers are you guys using? Or do you just go to a hardware store and buy a bunch of regular 10mm...
Hey all,
So I impulse bought a GT tower brace for my V6 for a decent Canadian price :headbonk:
Has anyone installed these? I know they apparently don't clear the manifold, but I was talking to other people in my group and they said if I add spacers of sorts it should be fine. Thoughts?
Word of warning to everyone from personal experience - if you had your springs installed by someone, at least do an alignment inspection right after the springs were installed. Here is why...
A very reputable, local tire shop recommended I get my springs done at a performance shop for a good...
I had them on my auto. Under 2k RPM especially in 6th gear. It's not that it was a bad drone, I just disliked the tone sounded. However, once you hit 2.5k car fucking purrs and 3.5k+ it screams.
Mind you, this is my first ever exhaust, so what I consider drone might be, and is, laughable to...
