  1. E85 and Oil requirements

Why the catch can? Curious, I've already got one with my FF tune.
  2. GT350 CAI install on GT

Sorry that may have been confusing. Others in Houston are currently running this GT350 intake with a lund tune with no issues. I myself have a steeda intake installed, currently. I have a GT350 CAI sitting in my trunk waiting to be installed. I also already got lund to send me a new tune for...
  3. GT350 CAI install on GT

I've only helped a friend install one on his car, mine is still sitting in my trunk waiting for me to not be lazy. As for the tune, I just had lund send me a replacement for my steeda flex-fuel tune. He has made tunes for a couple guys in Houston that are running this intake, so I'm pretty...
  4. GT350 CAI install on GT

Yeah OP, you do have a broken vacuum port on your intake. I cut up a 3.50" silicone adapter, and slipped it into the GT350 intake to adapt to the throttle body. You'll need a tune, swap your MAF, plug a vacuum line, and replace that filter. I haven't installed mine yet, but I've helped...
  5. RTR Street axleback

Dang, makes me think these may be ridiculous with headers and stock resonator.
  6. RTR Street axleback

I want to buy the Corsa double X pipe, but try these. For some reason... Not sure how it will sound with the street spec., but I'd probably put some sound dampening mats in the trunk.
  7. 1st to 2nd

Pretty much. Like others said, fluid swap would help a little when it's cold. I only get it every couple of 1-2 shifts when cold.
  8. RTR Street axleback

Do you have any other mods? Would definitely like to hear it with headers.

  10. Unbelevable slop in drivetrain

Maybe I can't hear it that well with the headers during shifting or while driving. But when I'm in the parking garage it's LOUD. Definitely something banging around.
  11. Unbelevable slop in drivetrain

Would what I'm describing below be the backlash you are talking about? When traveling slowly (~5mph) and I depress the clutch, I can hear shit banging around underneath. It sounds like backlash, because I can use the gas to sort of "relieve" the drivetrain of the torque right before I engage...
  12. Noticable Driving Benefits of Long Tube Headers

Sound, low end torque, power. Really has been my favorite mod to date.
  13. Blocking hood vent above open (Steeda) CAI...

Don't worry about it. I washed my car (GT PP with steeda intake) last night, sprayed water at the vent for an easy 20-30 seconds and opened the hood, not even a drop in the intake box. I'll be selling my steeda intake in a week or two if you're interested. Installing a GT350 one for the OEM look.
  14. Clunk sound from clutch and transmission noises

This is what I have been thinking it was all the time. The differential moving wouldn't make such a pronounced noise up near the actual transmission. I would like to see how cars with a 1-piece drive shaft sound. Someone once told me that they adjusted the e-brake on their '14 GT (because...
  15. Legato Axlebacks Review

Know if anyone with headers has these?
  16. Help me choose a Corsa Exhaust

Sweet! I've been wanting to go touring AB's with my longtubes, just having a hard time deciding between them and the GT500's that have been going around recently... Haven't heard but one video with the touring AB's and long tubes.
  17. Help me choose a Corsa Exhaust

If you go with a tune, you will pretty much "void" your powertrain warranty right out of the gate. Not worth it, to me, if you're just doing it to alleviate the cold starts. In my opinion, I would go with the sport catback. If it is too quiet for you, you could always sell the touring axleback...
  18. 2011/2012 GT500 Axleback Installed *video*

Anyone know of a cheaper place to get these than American Muscle's $406 price?
  19. Air Resonator

No, you can plug the 3rd vacuum port, and use a coupling that fits the stock TB (cut it to like ~1" long or so) and put the GT350 intake over that coupling and clamp it down. At least that is what I'll be doing to mine.
